Pix... Im glad you are feeling better!

Christina... Boo on loosing the job, and YAY! for getting married!! We got married in Vegas, and ti was a BLAST!

We ddint have internet or cable for WEEK. YUCK! But we have it back now... I was singing with joy... I love TV. And internet. Alex started school.. My big ole second grader. We were walking past the kindergarten classes and i got all weepy.. Next year Kaylee will be there! She towered over all the kids as we walked past. I dont know what we will do next year. She is going to be twice the size of the kids in her class! Alex likes his teacher, and his best friend is in his class this year.. I hope he gets some learning in with the playing.

His dad came by again last night. I guess we will see if he continues. Alex checked the mail yesterday and came running in... MOMMY!! We got more mail from the coupon lady!!:lmao::lmao::lmao: I think he likes those as much as I do!! We went to Target today and i bought more diapers.. 2 cases.. $18.99 per case, plus two $3. off coupons, and a five dollar gift card if you buy two cases. What a DEAL!! Is it odd that I like buying diapers?? It makes me feel like I am getting a crazy discount of something. :lmao:

oh... and one of the woman on my twin boards just found out she was pregnant again.. With TWINS!! She in on the boards above mine and her babies are 9 months old. I am SOOO excited for her! Its too funny... She was on Depo, her dh had a vasectomy, and they were using condoms. and she STILL got pregnant!! :lmao: She is THRILLED!! I love it. :goodvibes

DBF and I got Guitar Hero for PS3 last weekend and Wednesday we got the drums and mic. You should see us jam. :rotfl: We suck! :lmao: I don't know how those kids do it. It's hard. And we were only playing on Easy. We have the Aerosmith game and one with a whole bunch of songs. I want to get the Metallica one this weekend.

Thanks for the comments everyone. :grouphug: I feel better today. Yesterday I spoke with my mom on the phone and she said to have my bro drive me to their chiropractor. Apparently one of my grandma's sister's daughter's daughter (try saying that 5 times fast!) is married to this chiropractor. I never met him before.

I went down there and he said: "Your back looks awful!" He noticed that I was leaning towards the left (pain is mostly on the right). He did some massages and it actually was painful because my back was so sore. He also popped it a few times, which scared me. :rotfl: I felt a lot better this morning and made it into work. I am wearing a back brace under my clothes to help support my back. It feels weird like I'm wearing a girdle. :rotfl: He wants me to go back for more treatment after work today. The traffic is really really bad on the way to his office and also back. :(

Oh, here is a messenger bag that I decorated:

Cute bag!:thumbsup2

The chiropractor has helped me alot. I used to get really bad headaches and now I don't. In January I statred out going 3 times a week but now I'm down to 2 times a month. The doc said I have scoliosis and took x-rays on my first visit. I'm curious to see how they will look at the end of the year. (I paid for a 1 year treatment program).

Yay for the weekend!

I am about to quit my wedding. The planning was going so smoothly until my mom informed me that nobody else will be able to afford to come to aruba. I got pricing stuff out and she's probably right. So we thought san diego, which will be cheap for our guests sure but YIKES it's expensive to get married there. So now I don't know what to do. Poo.

Yep... Thats the problem with destination weddings. not very many people can afford to go. When we got married my parents came, 3 of Dhs buddies, my BF, my sis and her family, and some of my family from Texas. Oh.. and Dhs dad and step mom and their kids from Germany. Thats it. But if we had gotten married here, some of those people wouldnt have been able to come. We chose Vegas because it was a centralized location for everyone.

yeah I think I will just have to decide if I care that some people won't make it. I'm mostly concerned about my student sis, who has no money but she's favourite and would love for her to be there. Oh well, that's just the way it goes.

.
Apparently I'm a delicate little flower of a girl and DH doesn't think I can camp with the kids by myself Saturday night. So in addition to our friends that camp next to us, he is also sending his parents in their new motorhome to watch over me.:rotfl2:

:lmao: Hope it's fun, crowd and all!

I'm glad that you are feeling better, I've never been to a chiropractor...too chicken. But I know that really good ones can do wonders to treat back pain.

We ddint have internet or cable for WEEK. YUCK! But we have it back now... I was singing with joy... I love TV. And internet. . Alex checked the mail yesterday and came running in... MOMMY!! We got more mail from the coupon lady!!:lmao::lmao::lmao: I think he likes those as much as I do!!

Bleh! I wouldn't know what to do without internet! We use ours for everything. I could live without TV, we will be disconnecting the cable and using converter box and high power antennas. We experimented with it on our bedroom TV to make sure it worked well.. We've always had some type of cable (even the basic type with just eh public channels) because in an apartment it's impossible to get any reception.

:goodvibes Sending the coupons is just as fun for me! I had to toss a few... they got buried in my binder and expired.. sniffle sniffle.. sorry! I read that there is a printable for Enfamil :yay: one of the deal blogs I read said she uses the formula checks AND coupons together since the checks are tendered like cash. News to me, would make for an awesome deal!. :thumbsup2

She was on Depo, her dh had a vasectomy, and they were using condoms. and she STILL got pregnant!!
wow! Talk about determination! :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: Nature will do its darndest to persevere I guess!

DH told me that his coworker got a settlement check because she got preg using Depo (twice).

I know!!
My boys will play for hours, I can barely hit a few on one song.. really really slow and easy level.. :lmao::lmao::lmao: I get a kick out of hearing the songs I enjoyed as a teen, raising the next generation of head bangers. :rotfl:

J's marching band placed second in competition today. He has another round tomorrow.

Since we were kidless today, we strolled the mall and hit the thrift store on the way home. N has been asking for a series of manga books from the show Bleach, we had put it off hoping for a good Borders coupon or to find them at Half Price Books store with no luck.

Today... guess what I found!!!!??!!!

Not one but SEVERAL of the Bleach series (1 thru 6) , Dragon Ball Z (1 thru 4), and One Piece (1 thru 3)... saving me $5 for each book! YES!
:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

They were stashed on a shelf of oddball home decor stuff, found a small stack in one aisle.. one in another.. a few more over there... Found some Nauruto ones but it was an incomplete set, decided to skip it as we know N is the type who won't read it if he has to skip around.
And a boxed set of Kingdom Hearts.. cute as heck! But ideal for a young reader, mostly graphics and not much reading. It was hard to put back.. simply because I love the characters... sniffle.

Got home, told N to look in the box.. he finds one.. two.. hey wait?? how many??... oh wow!!!

Grinning ear to ear. :goodvibes
He cleared a shelf to display them in his room.

Anything to get him to READ!
It's weird, the rest of us are such book hounds and N doesn't really like books..odd duck... but he likes manga. :thumbsup2

Wow, really slow day around here yesterday. So DBF and I booked another cruise. We are going December 14-18th. I hear they decorate the ship for Christmas so I'mn excited. We got it for $174 each for 5 days/4 nights. Leave from Long Beach stop in Catalina and Ensenada.

I swear if I get one more flippin' hot flash I'm going to go STREET RAT CRAZY!!!!!!!!

thank you for your time.

Street rat crazy? How does that differ from country road mouse crazy? Inquiring minds want to know.

Time to refill that Prozac prescription and gleefully let mashed potatoes fall to the floor as your family watches on in horror..

I mean..

I hope it gets better soon.

Think cold thoughts.. snow, freezing rain, frozen foods department at Walmart, digging to the bottom of the chest freezer for the elusive last bag of frozen peas, cold shower when the hot water heater goes out, unheated pool, forgetting to turn on the heater on your dialysate and feeling the cold liquid run along the blood in your veins.. think COLD :cold:

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

:thumbsup2

I've had a lot of chatty time lately, not complaining.. it was fun.
Pix with updates on the home front, chat on Facebook with a childhood friend, more chat with a high school friend and then he called me at home...... nice guy, he was "just a friend" in high school-- made one attempt at looking for "something more" a few yrs after graduation.. but he was cool about it when I didn't make a co-move in response.

Refreshingly honest, he tells me his kids are brats. :rotfl:
And we both scratched our heads or dropped jaw in awe about other classmates and where life has led them to become.

Funny, the people who didn't go to the reunion are the ones that I am enjoying the most to be in contact with again. Just have two more people that I am wondering "where are they now?" to find... and the reunion staff couldn't find them either. Bummer :guilty:

What a GREAT day!! We had the WORST night ever last night. Jasmine SCREAMED her head off all night. I wanted to chuck her but out the window. But I didnt. I just held her and tried my best to calm her. She finally slept for about two hours this morning around three or so. Then when DH got home I passed her off to him.. Let him deal with the screaming. :lmao: I managed to squeeze out a couple of hours of sleep..

Anyhoo.. I got up, took a shower and then we got the kids ready.. I went to pay the cable bill.. The plan WAS to go to the SS office for cards for the bigger kids.. But I didnt think I had enough time before Alex got home from school. I was also supposed to get the babies birth certificates.. But I didnt. I went to the grocery store instead. Kaylee got to play in the nursery. She loved it.

Alex got home and said.. Its open house today! :scared1: GAH!! i forgot! So I had to get them all ready for that. It also meant I didnt have to make dinner!:cool1: So We went, and it was great. We had dinner.. met the teacher.. who is RIDICULOUSLY sweet. I LOVE her! She commented on how patient and nurturing Alex is. I said YEP! He gets tons of practice with that at home!:lmao: I also volunteered to be room mom. Cant wait!

Then it was time for bed. Kaylee and Alex fell alseep in record time. The babies did too.. but they both did the 30 minute wake up.. but they are both sleeping soundly now. I hope they stay that way!

Tomorrow is ball shaving day. He goes in on Thursday. :guilty: No more babies for Megan.

I have a Prozac prescription, but it doesn't seem to be working. :scared1: Previously we had Kaiser Permanente and their 10mg Fluoxetine capsules were white and green. The new prescription I have I filled at Fred Meyer and they are yellow and green. Both were generic versions of Prozac, but I'm wondering if perhaps one generic worked better for me then the other??:confused3 Or maybe it's just not working anymore?? I'm thinking of calling Kaiser pharmacy and asking what generic brand they use, then call around and see if I can find it anyplace else. I didn't use any Prozac for about 9 months, but I started back up about a month ago and it honestly doesn't seem to matter.

I do know that I'm having an awful time with sugar causing hot flashes. I can't eat anything with sugar in it during the afternoon or evening. Even the artificial sweeteners are causing hot flashes. Anything I seem to eat, say a piece of bread that has sugar or corn syrup in it will cause horrific hot flashes within about 2 minutes of eating. So basically I'm eating dinner and then drinking water all evening. This morning I just ate an English Muffin w/butter and a banana, now I'm sweating like a pig!

The cold really doesn't help, because they are flashes. DH turned the AC to really cold last night, I was freezing along with everybody else! Punctuated by periodic horrific hot flashes every 20 minutes or so. It's hard to explain, but cold doesn't help, except for the exact moment that you are having a hot flash. Having the house cold doesn't make a difference, it's really just the internal thermometer in your body that is messed up. The doc's think it's caused by the estrogen levels that regulate the seratonin in your brain. Your brain sends a signal that your body is overheating, so it tries to send heat away from your internal organs.

Bernice, this will explain Street Rat Crazy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUYhcYw1ksw

Awesome! I'm friends with several of my ex-boyfriends from high school. Kinda weird at first, none have tried hitting on me. But then again, I try to steer our discussions towards my family, how I've been married to DH for 20 years, talk about their family, etc...

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:OMG!! I had to really stop and think for a minute. My mind was in the School/Open House mode and I'm thinking, their school is shaving balls?? Like playground balls? And how do you shave a ball? :rotfl: Then it finally dawned on me what you were talking about. Stock up on frozen peas, they are the best! Put then in sandwich baggies and make about 3 of them, so you have one ready to go at all times. Don't feel bad, you have 4 wonderful babies (and they will always be your babies, no matter how old they are). If you truly find you want more, then you can always adopt more. But I have a feeling you will find it very convenient, not to mention that you will start looking forward to watching your completed family grow.:thumbsup2

Oh and let's not forget the fun part. About a month or so from now when you have to take a "sample" in to the doctor's office for testing.:rotfl2: I dropped DH's off at the doctor's on my way to work...all I kept thinking is please don't let me get in a wreck and they find this specimen bottle in my coat pocket.:rotfl:
