Ok I'm going to hop on this bandwagon here I swear I am the last to know anything that goes on here on the Dis! So I watched Sunday's episode last night. WOW! It seems to me this season has been so slow and now everything is happening so fast!! I didn't however see next weeks preview. How many episodes do we have left?

Oh, and also I'm a HUGE fan of Eric!!

Sam explained to Sookie last season that he usually has to see the animal he wants to shift into so he has an imprint of them. Notice when he was running, he had to look up and see the snowy owl before he could change into it. Otherwise, he could have just shifted into something big & strong to escape when they were holding him down.

Unless there are bears or mountain lions running around the woods there, it may be difficult for him to shift into a big enough creature to handle Maryann.

Maybe he could just shift into maryanns "creature" - that'd be quite a fight!

That's what I've been thinking too ... I had been thinking maybe a creature/god that would kill her type, but someone pointed out to me, he'd have to see it. Could it be possible to see it in a book? Bill was reading a book (back in the 1930's California flashback) about Greek gods and monsters ... and he knows Sam is a shifter ....

Also, there's Sookie. She should be heading back home now that the FOL stuff is going to be over after next week. Since she's supernatural, she may be immune to MaryAnn.

Bill has got to be able to help, everything has gotten worse with Maryanne since they all left for Texas. I noticed that book that Bill was reading also, didn't think much about it at the time but I think your on to something!

I agree, and although I figured it might turn out that way for Godric (from reading the book), Eric made me cry!

Only 3 episodes left - dang it! I guess the big Maryanne showdown will be on the finale...

Anyone know the release date for the season 2 dvds? Or does anyone know if there is a way to catch up on the episodes, either online or if HBO has an on demand feature? TIA!

LOVED last night's episode--must have been all the Eric. Loved the scene with Sookie removing the shrapnel and holy cow--her dream!

Also glad to see that Hoyt stood up to his mama.

Depends on your carrier. I have ATT Uverse and it is "On Demand".

Can I say that I cried when Godric died? I was so sad that his character is gone. I loved him. The scene with Eric crying for Godric killed me.

I never cared for Bill and I want Sookie to get with Eric. The sooner the better for me.

I am not feeling the Hoyt/Jessica thing. I just can't get into that storyline. Actually if I think about it, it annoys me. I want to see Eric and Sam, not Jess.

As soon as Sookie started sucking out the silver- I KNEW Eric would have that smirk on his face! It was priceless!!! He is so bad Loved the dream too!

I have a question though, since Lorena was popping up in Sookie's dream- is she still "in" on Eric's plan just so that she can get Bill back?

I am now feeling bad for Bill I love Eric, but Bill just seems so helpless, and it is sad. Even sadder, Sookie will not be able to help the way she feels about Eric.

Please get Maryann out of here! I did not like it when Maryann said Tara would be back- and that she would be bringing Lafayette and her mother with her! Hopefully since Lafayette does have some of Eric running through his veins that will help him- as far as Tara's mom- Maryann can have her

I can't wait to see what Sam and Andy are planning!

Best.Episode.Ever

Loved Jason popping up, covered in vampire goo and giving Sookie the "two thumbs up" sign.

And the deputy letting Sam into his room, even though he was buck nekkid. My DD said, "He's seen stranger things than that -- a bull ... in a dress .. with CLAWS!"

Having read the books, I've liked Bill ... but I know the direction they've taken him this season and he just seems so sad and forlorn. I'm thinking the cliffhanger will be Lorena kidnapping him ....

Eric lovers seem to be upset that they are making him the "bad" one ... but there is an impishness/devilishness going on there that you can't resist.

And I too was sad to see Godric go so soon. I liked his character so much and that was *such* a scene between him, Eric and then Sookie.

Again. Best. Episode. Ever.

I agree this was another great episode, however as I've said before I am so sick of this Maryanne storyline and am ready for it to go away (it's actually getting pretty boring because we know what to expect). I'm thinking Lafayette may be able to save Tara with some "V"? Just a thought. And like someone above said, I'm sure that the big showdown between the good peeps and Maryanne will be our cliffhanger for the season finale.

I too am sad about Bill being so forelorn, it's almost like he's given in to the fact that Sookie will no longer be "his". But I admit I did like the dream sequence with Eric & Sookie, and I was really hoping to see some Eric booty, maybe next time!

I think Lorena is going to play a part in taking control of Bill again, remember Godric told her she was no longer welcome in Texas, but I'm sure she will be waiting for Bill in Louisiana where she will have total control over him.

Eric was just plain HOT last night.

Sookie was just so kind to Godric at the end. Eric will reward her, perhaps with a new driveway for her kindness.

I love that Sam turned into a fly so he could see what was going on at Sookie's house with Marianne, etal. I can't wait for that storyline to be over. Looks interesting about Bon Temps being destroyed in next week's episode. Maybe instead of a fire at Sookie's house, it will be ransacked, too.
