During the holiday period, is it regular Sh-boom or a Christmassy alternative? We went during Halloween last time and didn't realise it wasn't Sh-boom...

I can't speak to Halloween, but during the Christmas holiday season, it's "Winter Wonderland" by Darlene Love. (Pretty sure that's what they've played each time I've been there.)

PS--It's just as fun, in my opinion. Love DL/DCA during the holidays.

Wow, thanks for sharing! I think this actually sealed the deal for us to try to be there at sunset during the Holiday season. I love the traditional Sh-boom, but I love Christmas even more, and those classic Christmas songs always make my heart sing

Yep, it's been part of our Thanksgiving for four years. Absolutely love it. We're doing the Halloween season this year, but it's gonna be weird missing the Christmas decorations!
