"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

If I drank coffee I would say that I need a cup....I thought that the article said that he was 30 years old!!!!

:goodvibes just finished my third cup...
i need caffeine to resemble anything human

She looks so in love:love:...............for now

If this goes the way of most Hollywood couples, this is not good for the show if they get divorced later and there is all this animosity on set. They should at least think of their fans. ;)

Hopefully, if that happens, Sookie will be with Eric or whoever.

Don't worry, this is the thread for not being human. :teeth: :goodvibes

I've been thinking (uh-oh!) ..... With Bill reading about Greek gods ... and Sam being a shifter.

What if Sam can shift into some creature that can kill Mary Anne?

Sam explained to Sookie last season that he usually has to see the animal he wants to shift into so he has an imprint of them. Notice when he was running, he had to look up and see the snowy owl before he could change into it. Otherwise, he could have just shifted into something big & strong to escape when they were holding him down.

Unless there are bears or mountain lions running around the woods there, it may be difficult for him to shift into a big enough creature to handle Maryann. :upsidedow

OK, so they said that Maryann is Dionysis.... correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Dionysis a male, and the son of Zeus?

Maybe it is just expected that we assume he is in a female body?

I know she is a Maenad. I think she is a female follower of Dionysis.:confused3

That would make sense, but is that what Daphne said to Sam on the dock?

Yup. She said that Maryanne was God, or as close as they'd ever see here in Bon Temps. She told Sam that Maryanne was a Maenad- they are followers of Dionysis. They feed on and gain strength from chaos- lust, anger, violence, excess, all the fun stuff, Daphne said. Dionisys was the god of wine, as Sam said- Daphne said yes, he is, but he's also much more. She said he is also known as the horned god. Sam asked if he was Satan- Daphne replied, "Dionysis, Satan- it's really more of an energy".

Whoa! Did you do that from memory? I've watched the last episode at least three times since it first aired and I couldn't do that!

Can anyone tell me what a blood orange soda might taste like? My son is saying I should by True Blood the drink since I'm so addicted to the show. It's killing me though, that I might not like it and it's probably 27 bucks or so with shipping.

If it tastes anything like Red Tangerine Fanta, it would be delicious. Is that what's in the true blood drinks?? Sounds delish, I'd buy them if I had any money, haha.

If I were you I'd save some money and just buy some blood orange italian soda from the grocery store. It's really good. But certainly not worth the money they want for the true blood drink...:sad2::rolleyes:

Well, I did cheat a bit- I was going to say sex, fighting, hate, all the good stuff- but I went through the episode again to get the correct words. I also had to listen again to quote the "...more of an energy" line.

I probably pay WAY too much attention to the show!!:rotfl:

Seriously this show is sooooo totally different from the book...I can't get past all of the differences!!!! :rolleyes1

I was so grossed out at them eating the heart... ughh. Was anyone else...and she just watched them too! And the violence...beating each other up! :scared1:

Ms. Lorina was sent packing....that was too funny. :lmao:

I can't stand the gore. :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2:

I said when I joined this thread last season that I'm not into Vampire stuff. :p Too much blood & gore. I only watch it for Bill. . . and now Eric. . .

I think he showed his choppers in this episode more than any other! I'm a Bill fan, but man is Eric sexy.

I agree that it's terribly gory and gross, especially since my stomach was already a little upset. Why can't Sherriff Dearborn and Kenya realize that something is obviously OFF in the town? I mean, you've got the coroner in jail for......well, you know. That's outrageous!

Yes, the season is straying far from the books, but I really like that it's not predictable.

Anybody wanna have the healing problem Jessica does? I can understand her frustration....though Hoyt kind of looked enthralled.

Sookie really reminded me how much of a spitfire she can be. We haven't really seen that this season with all her whining. I absolutely love fiery Sookie! That's what drew me to the books in the first place.

Altogether, I enjoyed the episode.

Yes, they do not seem to be the brightest bulbs on the planet. Even Andy might turn out smarter than them. :sad2:

Did anyone else catch that Goderic banned Lorena from his area, but Bill & Sookie live in another area - Eric's. Unless Eric now has a problem with Lorena attacking Sookie, he might let her in his area to keep harrassing Bill. It must be weird to have a vampire be obsessed with you through eternity. :scared1:

It was a decent episode as there was lots of Eric!

I was happy that Jason is out of the FoTS stuff. Hopefully the whole Maryanne storyline will finish up soon as well.

Well, the whole Godric thing kind of threw me because it's so different from the books--not to mention Lorena.

However, my favorite part from this week's episode was when Eric pretended to be human at the Fellowship of the Sun. :rotfl2: His southern accent and aw shucks manner cracked me up. It was like he took lessons from Jason.
