I will be sitting on the right side right at the corner of the stage on the aisle. I wanted floor seats but with my height I would see NOTHING! Which side does he usually come down from?

(Plus I think the other Idols cannot STAND Kat, so she's using this sickness as a front because she knows no one likes her! ) Oh I do hope she stays out until after 8/2!!

Make that 8/3 and we have a DEAL!!! Yes, I think the other idols, especially the ladies, are thrilled to be without her. She's not fooling anyone.

I read somewhere that she will have a DUET with Taylor???? Noooooo!!!! I planned my toilet break for that time!!!

BREAKING NEWS:

At the Arena in Gwinnett County during the well publicized and sold out American Idol Tour, a very loud and crazed fan attacked and TOOK DOWN the reigning American Idol, Taylor Hicks, just as he was making his way down the aisle singing his very first song of the evening.

This fan, an adorable and very short African American woman by the username of Robinrs, beat down the entire security staff surrounding Mr. Hicks and jumped on his back screaming "SOOOOOUL PATROOOOOOOL" over and over. She also said some strange words like THUD and ONION.... we are still trying to understand those strange utterances.

Ms. Robinrs threw the still singing Idol over her shoulder and ran out of the Arena as a crazed crowd cheered her on.

The lunatic and Mr. Hicks are still on the lam.

OK - here you go. If row W is pretty far up, you may not get to squeeze his butt as you might have planned. But you will enjoy every second regardless, I promise you. We sat in pretty much the same section, but 5 rows up and I could have spit on the stage, had I wanted to (no comment.) That section is very close. And we did get a wave!

This is the path he takes - the orange line. It's a pretty good workout for him, I'd say. Like I said, he moves fast:

Argh, lucky people who are going!! This is the first year I won't get to go to an AI show. Anyway, just wanted to say that my 80-something grandmother (who is seriously cool and looks more like 60-something) thinks Taylor is the sexiest thing ever.

Robin, you are way too funny!

When my friend saw the show she said she had seats on the side - sort of where you are. She said they liked it because they could see the other performers waiting to go on and they were interacting with the audience over there. Bucky won the most fans as he was smiling and waving to everyone.

Well, I saw him do it! I heard other people describing the same path at other shows too. I have a video of the whole "run" that I will post when I get time

I thought of that - about the bathroom! And then I thought about catching up with him in the hallway before his entrance. I mean he entered through what appeared to be just a regular second floor entrance. I just wonder what it must have been like out in that hallway!

So, after initially NOT going to the AI concert I am now going to 2! I was able to get floor seats to the Charlotte, NC concert with a friend from here and then will be going to the LiMBO after concert (with a "very special guest" ). Floor seats, too!! I will be jumping on that hunka man if he passes me. I'll bring him to you, Robin! I will be doing shots of Red Bull the next day @ work since that doesn't let out until 2 AM (then a 3 hour drive home) THEN I'm going to the Columbia AI concert the next day. Oh the extremes I am going to for this man!! I hope I get to meet him but on one hand, I keep imaging him falling madly in love with me (in my dreams!) and I will be disappointed when he doesn't, hahaha! Wow, I need to see a shrink I think.

Oh man, it's getting so close I can taste it!! For all those who aren't able to go -- DO NOT BE UPSET! Taylor will be around a LONG LONG time and it won't be long until he goes on his own tour. That'll be so much better than any AI show!!

I feel so sorry for those people buying those tickets on eBay for $300 and more for the Atlanta show! Ticketmaster has released tickets at least 4 times in the past week! My niece was determined though, she's an Elliott fan, and we got 'em the minute they were released!

Funny thread on the AI board which I'm sure WILL be poofed along with a long list of posters....

I'm not our MIA runner-up's shrink, but as a mom of 2, grandmother of 4 and aunt of several spoiled drama queens, I can tell you it doesn't take a 300 dollar and hour shrink to tell anyone who has raised kids whats going on with our runner-up.
First.. take one very attractive girl, give her all the spending money she needs, let her decide when she wants to show up for school or family dinner or anything else that she doesn't want to do, top it off with a daddy that thinks she's PERFECT and you will end up with OUR NEW AMERICAN IDOL RUNNER-UP !!
Look, so far since the end of the competition she has:
1 Sang on GMA
2 recorded with Bocelli
3 signed up to produce a broadway play
4 started a hair care line
5 guest hosted on The View"
6 stay in very swank hotels with her 40 year old boyfriend
7 and today she gets to meet the president.
All while being so ill that she couldn't even go on tour and sign autographs.
I dont know if the plane was canceled but she should have been back practicing with the tour last week when she got the doctors okay. So...why didn't she??? I think it's going to be hard to face the other contestants! I also think she probably believes that she shouldn't have to share a stinky ole bus with 4 other girls. None of who have her class and breeding. Obviously, I have no patience with drama queens who think they have a bottomless Gucci handbag full of excuses that can get them off of any hook. Once she has to live this tour,a grueling schedule that includes sharing a bus and the spotlight light with 9 other talented people, She will reach right into that Gucci bag for the nearest map to the exit signs.
I WONDER HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE THE MODS TO DELETE THIS EXPERIENCED MOTHERS PERSONAL OPINION ??????

And here is my own personal thought for the day...Kat should be embarassed to show her face on that stage at this point. How did she even get 2nd place, remind me?

Oh and I too tried that Ticketmaster trick (of checking for tix on the day of the show) and dang if it didn't work! Our sold-out show opened a bunch of seats a day or 2 before. My existing seats were still better, but that is one little trick that I will tuck away and use in the future!
