LOL actually its not a huge story. He was at a house on St. Charles in N.O. where we always go for the parades. It was a big Endymion party and Journey was also there ,but since Steve Perry isnt with the band , i was NOT interested LOL.
He was skinnier than idol days. In fact much better looking. At one point the parade was stopped and there was the Slidell High school band in front of us. He got out in the middle of the kids and danced and played around with them and took pictures. All the little girls were screaming, i think i heard the windows shatter up and down the streets. He was nice and my Ds 4 knew exactly who he was so he played with him a bit.

DH sent it into Blender magazine. They have a column every month that features fans and celebs pics and if its featured i can win the new Virgin mobile pink oystr phone. Im hoping lol, my pink razor has gotten a tad beat up.

PS he will be in New Orleans on March 14 at the house of blues... tickets are on sale now and NOT sold out. Its general admission and not a real big place.

I SPers - I don't know who is still around but I thought I'd check in just one more time to say hi. Not on such a cheerful note either. Geez, I'm gonna get my Soul Patrol membership revoked, but I gotta tell you this. On the 12th, went to my concert. And you know what? That wasn't the Taylor that we are expecting. We've seen pieces of him live all over the place, right? Maybe we caught the AI tour - I saw him on the Today Show - there are videos of Workplay, etc all over the net. We know Taylor, right? Man, this was NOT him.

Let's start with the fact that the crowd was pretty much comatose. Butts planted in their seats from start to finish. OK, everyone has different opinions on whether or not it's appropriate to dance at a concert, but geez....at least wiggle or something. My DS jumped up and yelled once and I swear he woke the man in front of us and seriously peeved the lady next to him.

So, I don't care what anyone says - Taylor cut his teeth as a bar musician, in which setting a crowds appreciation is clearly displayed by the amount of dancing going on. What do you think he's thinking when he sees 1K people parked in their seats? Well, he responded accordingly. The show was 1 hour long. That is it. And it was like he was just going through the motions. No talking, just song, song, song, goodnight.

I'm going to give him another chance, but maybe on the next tour. I love him and love his potential, but ....and I never thought I'd say this.....he has room for improvement with respect to his live show. And that is strange, because I loved him based solely upon his ability to perform live. I just think he hates the sedentary theater audience thing. Just a guess.

Thanks for posting CKay, watching AI this year really makes us miss Taylor. He had a concert in the Chicago area on Apr. 25, but I haven't heard anything about it. Too bad it was such a disappointment for you.

Not sure if you know, but Taylor is playing the role of Teen Angel in Grease on Broadway. I am thinking of going next month. Tickets are $121

Anyone else planning on going?
