Will they automatically deliver to bell services, or do you have the option of them delivering directly to your building? If they deliver to bell services, do most people have them deliver before they arrive? As you may have guessed, this is the first time we've ordered groceries. And does bell services charge to bring them to your room? On another board, they said that bell services charges $6 per grocery bag, which would be pretty costly. But we don't have a rental car so I don't know our options. I am arranging for an ECV that I'll be picking up-perhaps I could load up my ECV-I just want to avoid a $6/bag delivery fee. Any other tips? At least we have the HH category, so we don't have to go too far.

This is how it worked for me this past Christmas. I received 2 deliveries at BWV before my arrival. One from BJ’s and the other from WF. They were refrigerated as needed at bell services for free. I would have paid a fee if they were delivered to my room. When I moved to AKL Kidani our WF delivery was still free and once again we opted to bring the goods to the room ourselves; didn’t ask if they charged just assumed this time.

I noticed that some guests borrowed the luggage cart to bring their groceries in. YMMV

Grocery deliveries are definitely either to you in person, or Bell Services. The fee at all the resorts to have groceries delivered is $6 total (it's well worth it for us!). If you have alcohol delivered, you must be there, BS won't accept that. You certainly can have things delivered earlier in the day before you arrive.

One tip we learned the hard way - if you order groceries that require refrigeration until you have them delivered to your room, make sure to tell the store putting the order together to separate and mark those items requiring cold storage. BS will store the cold items for you, but only if they are marked to indicate they need cold storage. Otherwise, you might have eggs and milk sitting in the warm storage area for a few hours until you get them.

Groceries will be delivered to Bell Services. You can have Bell Services deliver then to your villa or pick them up there yourself. The fee is $6 per delivery, not per bag. At least I've never had them charge more than $6 regardless of the number of bags involved. More than once, they didn't charge me anything. The Bell Services folks at OKW are exceptionally great. We generally have groceries delivered prior to our arrival.

Since you're picking up an ECV, and are in HH, it would be easy to pick up your groceries at the same time, but that might not work well if you have more than a couple bags to deal with. I'd honestly just have them delivered once in in the room.

For many of our visits, the order arrives before we do (we receive a text confirmation) and gets stored until our arrival with Bell Services. When we arrive we ask them to retrieve it and usually it goes along (with us if the room is ready) and our luggage to the room. The fee is $6 per order and we tip the Bell attendant (as we would even without a grocery order) a bit more generously at OKW because most of the buildings have no elevators and there are lots of steps if you’re not in a first-floor unit.

We haven't stayed at OKW in a while, but we had groceries (including beer and wine) delivered by Instacart through Publix and they delivered to our room/building. Obviously we were already checked in and in our unit. Same thing happened at SSR a few times but I know you specified OKW. More likely to happen at these two resorts since there are no interior hallways.
It did also happen at Kidani once or twice, so I guess it might depend on the delivery person. They were all with Instacart.

My experience is with Instacart. If you are in your room at the time of delivery they can deliver directly to the room. You should be notified through the app when the shopper is shopping and when they’re on their way and you can follow along on a map within the app in real time. You can message the driver your exact location, room number.
That said, after using Instacart for years we had several bad experiences—orders cancelled with no notice and no explanation. Now, I take Lyft to Publix and do my own shopping. The entire trip takes about an hour and total cost is less than through Instacart.
