Good morning! WOW I can't believe it is Nov 1st! This year has flown by!

I couldn't wait to get home from dropping Connor off at school to come on the DIS and see the pics of the kids in their costumes! I love them all! What a great way to start my morning. :thumbsup2 Keep them coming ladies!

Robin - the shot I got is for this cold or flu bug, whatever it is we all have. I also got anti-biotics...which I think they did because it moved into my chest and I have a bad cough. I was in bad shape yesterday and am feeling a little better today so hopefully I can put this behind me. I feel like I have been on medication for something since July. Which, I have! I hate being sick and am rarely sick but the past few months have been killer.

Time to go raid the candy while Connor is at school. Catch you ladies later!

Mommies,

Which one of you was looking for the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse playset?

They have it on Walmart.com right now.

Morning all! Things have been hectic around here--hopefully they'll slow down a bit now, at least until mid-Nov.

Halloween went great--I will attempt to download a picture or two later. Celeste really got into the spirit of things, racing from house to house when she realized there was candy to be collected. Luke was a sport, but managed to lose a sock somewhere in the village. Oh--it was real funny. Some of the adults really get into the spirit of the night, and one lady insists that kids do a trick for their treat. Fair enough. Well, Jocelyn and Robert worked it out that Ninja Robert sliced off the (fake, obviously) hand of the mad scientist--the lady was real impressed! And then at another house, the people were dressed up, and the guy kept saying, "Ooh, I want to eat some brains!" while the kids were approaching. So Jocelyn goes, "No problem!" and reaches in her bag to pull out her fake brain! So much for scaring her...

Anyway, it was also DH's birthday, so we had cake after dinner. I only let the kids eat one piece of candy (due to the cake, plus all the crap they had at school). They were more interested in counting and trading anyway.

I wanted to say that I LOVE everyone's pictures! What adorable kids we all have! And Loretta--Love the cheesy wig!

justthat--One of the things that seemed to help my kids was emphasizing all the "big kid' things that the younger sibling doesn't get to do, whether helping Mom make cookies or eating big people food. Also try to have at least a few minutes a day of devoted "Madison time", which I know you do. Sometimes the kids just have to work through these things. Try not to take it too personally, and it definitely doesn't mean that she dislikes Henry in any way. Heck, I think Jocelyn would STILL like to leave Robert home from vacation, but she'd be the first one there defending him if someone picked on him.

WDWBetsy--LOVE your DD as Piglet, but I'm prejudiced--Luke was a monkey, but he had a little vest and goofy hat (my friend made the costume).

Oh, and I tested it a few days ago, and Luke officially doesn't tolerate chocolate! I wanted to test before I had a Halloween binge. Sigh! It's going to be one tough Christmas! You'd think I'd lose a pound or two from avoiding chocolate--no such luck!

Robin--I know all about having nutty relatives. Sadly, the best thing you can do is let them mess up on their own and not enable. It can be a tough lesson to learn. :wizard: to your mom.

SL--Lucas makes a great Mickey. I guess he's really loving the whole candy thing, huh?

Gina--I hope today goes better for you.

That's all for now--"Hi" to everyone else, as we all come down from our sugar highs!

LOVE everyone's pics! :lovestruc  :butterfly What great costumes!

Do you know, I took one of the group of kids we went with, but none just of my kids :guilty: I think I did that last year too. So I pledge to try to remember to get costume pics of just my kids next year.

I'm so jealous of those of you who didn't have to wear 20 layers of clothes to go out, it was in the low 30's and...bad mommy moment here...I think poor Leif was on the verge of freezing. I thought he was fine and towards the end of our 2 hour trek he was walking and going up to some houses, but after we got home and were looking at candy dh noticed Leif's lips were blue  I blamed it on candy at first, but when I started bathing Leif shortly thereafter I noticed his mouth was chattering. The poor child was freezing and I didn't even know it!! :faint: Luckily he seemed no worse for wear and enjoyed playing in the warm water and I put him in a warm sleeper. He played and had fun afterwards, so thank goodness he was ok, whew!

I'll have to come back to chat more later!

OH WOW everyone's pictures are so so so cute! I love them all!

We didn't get dressed up here - to be honest Halloween isn't really a big thing in the UK so we just usually get a coupple of trick or treaters and thats that. Unfortunatley here people tend to take advantage of it and we had lots of extra Police drafted out on the streets to take care of the people who go around scaring old people. DH was working - he dressed up as a pirate zombie though which was cool, he said he had to take eggs off sale as people were buying them to throw at the shops and they were all wearing hockey masks! SCARY!

I finally got my fall exchange package on Monday - THANKS JILL!! It was amazing we got so much stuff, some yankee candles and glow in the dark candle pots, some choclates and sweets for DH and I to share, some pumpkin shaped plates and some glasses, a pez, a pooh and heffalump dvd, a stitch and mickey stuffed toy - which Shelby LOVES! a cup for Shelby and loads of other stuff! I was so over whelmed by it all. What a wonderful exchange package we had. Thank you once again.

No time to catch up with everyone personally - I miss you guys but things are so hectic here, and it's our third wedding anniversary today aswell! Just wanted to let you all know that we haven't left the planet!

Take care and speak soon hopefully
Gems :)

Happy Anniversary Gems!

I only have a sec right now as Molly is being grumpy, but I forgot to show and tell my favorite part of the kid's costumes! My mom made them all personailzed bags to go along with their costumes, with her fancy embroidery/sewing machine!

ETA- WTH with photobucket?????????????? Forgive the random sizing!

halloween032.jpg

halloween033.jpg

halloween031.jpg

Methinks we're all going to have lots of embroidered hats, tshirts, purses, etc when we go to WDW in March! :teeth:

OK, I bribed Molly with a couple of mnm's, so I have a second.

Bellacam- love Aidan as a froggie! So cute!

GLT- I'm glad Leif is OK now! It was cold here- probably in the low 40s or high 30s. I had to put sweatshirts underneath Josh and Sam and Molly wore a sweater over her Tink costume.

BNB- bummer about the chocolate. :guilty: I feel your pain as I'm not supposed to have much, if any of it, but it's so hard!

FF- so tempted by the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse- I can't remember who wanted it. Someone else said on the budget board that kb toys and etoys have the figures in stock.

Z- hope this medicine helps you feel A+ soon!

Tasha- Kylie sure is a cute cowgirl! :cloud9:

OK, well I need jump in the shower and then vacuum. My children, whom I don't usually let watch TV with food, accidentally dumped a box of Cheezits on the floor yesterday. They got the big crackers, but there are crumbs all over the place.

Oh, and I have my HSG today at 3:15. Say a little prayer that my tubes are indeed closed and I don't cramp too much. I'm a bit nervous.

happy anniversary gems!

cute bags robin! yes, some personalized stuff for your trip is a must.

tasha - Kylie is a cute cowgirl!!

bellacam - Cute froggy you have! I love the eyes!

gotta run!

/
Well, I just went back to look at the pics I took last night, and all I can say is "YUCK!!" Oh, well, at least I have the ones from earlier!

I just love seeing all the babies dressed up! (And the big kids too--Loretta that wig is great!!)

Joats--I sure hope you start feeling better soon!

Gems--Happy Anniversary!!!! :cheer2:

FF--thanks for the heads-up on the Clubhouse--however, we've decided against it b/c I've read some bad reviews on it--slide won't stay on, etc. DD is going to be getting a big girl bike for xmas instead. I took her to TRU to see what size would be best for her and she was having a ball riding around the bike dept!

alice--Love the personalized bags! Your kids are so darling! Not so bad yourself, either! :thumbsup2

GLT--reading your post made me remember why I hated WI so much! I think Emma's 1st Halloween the kids were trick-or-treating in Snowsuits! :sad2: It was a cloudy but nice temp Halloween here. Just nippy enough to be considered fall, but not cool enough for jackets over the costumes. Hope Leif has warmed up! ;)

bnb--Oh how sad that it really is chocolate that is Luke's nemesis!! I would die without my chocolate fix--and the best part is, emma doesn't like chocolate candy, so more for me!!!! I hope you can post some pics later, your kids costumes sound great!

Well, off to look up some appetizer recipes for this weekend. Now that Halloween is over, it's time to concentrate on Bdays! I think we're back to having Emma's party at Chuck E Cheese--DH is getting off work early on friday so we're going to check out the one closest to our house (it's pretty old, and we just want to make sure it's not all scuzzy on the inside). The other place I wanted to have the party really is too far away for her friend's parents to drive. So we'll see. I just don't like the idea of having 2 bday parties in my house in less than a month. I'm stressing enough with this "small family get together" on Sat. Will chat later!

I just love all the Halloween pictures. What a bunch of cutie pies! I'll try to post pictures when I get home later. I'm actually at work and I should be getting one of a million things done but I needed a break. I'm not feeling well today. I almost got sick in front of my class. Somehow, I started to feel better. I have students coming to make up tests after school today and I didn't want to stand them up. Hopefully, it's just exhaustion and I'll snap out of it by tomorrow.

Gems - Scary about the hockey masks!

Robin - Good luck with the HSG.

justhat - the pictures of Henry make me miss having a little one!

Well, I better go before my students come in.

Tykes- I love the lion costume!

Betsy- Aubree is sooo cute! I know what you mean about wanting to kiss her face all day long. Poor Olivia gets covered with smooches all the time. Olivia likes to try holding her bottle too.

Alice- That’s too funny about Molly loving candy. That was so nice of your mom to embroider all the bags! Good luck with the HSG.

Tasha-It looks like Kylie had a great time!

Bella- Aidan makes such a cute froggie. It’s so funny that we had three froggies for Halloween on this thread. I love his picture laying in the leaves.

Zalansky- I hope your antibiotics kick in and you start feeling better. I had a summer like that once, where I got sick in June and was pretty much ill for the rest of the year. I wound up with bronchitis, which triggered some temporary asthma, and I was coughing and coughing all summer and through to Christmas!

BNB- Glad you had a nice Halloween. Sorry that you’re going to have to keep avoiding chocolate though! Maybe you could get some of those chocolate flavored sucking candies? I know I used to find stuff like that at BJs. They tasted like chocolate, coffee and caramel.

GLT- Poor Leif! I didn’t realize you guys were getting such cold weather this week. The northeast was actually warm yesterday, though it’s supposed to get colder this weekend (most likely the coldfront you guys were trekking through yesterday).

Gems- Happy Anniversary!!! :goodvibes Dh was scared all night that we might have some teenagers out throwing eggs at houses, but our neighborhood was quiet. Of course I went to drop off my car at the service station, and that neighborhood was hit by some rowdiness, since there were eggs and shaving cream all over the streets.

nucpharm- I'm not sure I'm up for entertaining at my house either, and Thanksgiving is going to creep up really quickly. My mom was quizzing me on what I'll be cooking, etc. I'm totally not ready.

I forgot to mention- DBro was hysterical with his trick-or treating yesterday. He refused to go up to any of the doors, because there MIGHT be a dog inside, and he’s decided that he’s terrified of dogs this week. So DSIL held his hand and half-walked/half-dragged him to each house. Of course once we got back to my house, he had a great time handing out candy to all the kids that came to our door.

I missed a lot of the festivities because of work. I sent over this motion that’s been taking up all of my time and energy, and there were a couple of missing pieces that just wouldn’t work out. I went CRAZY all day trying to finish all the last minute adjustments to this thing. I’ve been saying for WEEKS that these things were missing, but no one listens to me. So everything came to a head last night. I felt awful, since normally I can find a way to make things work out, but this was beyond my power. So I was on my cell with nasty phone conversations while we were trick-or-treating. Nothing like having work ruin the one night a week when I have family over and things planned.

Anyway, things have evened out a little today. I still have deadlines creeping up, but it’s more manageable for now. Now I’m scared because after these three or four projects are done I have NO work on the horizon and hence no paychecks on the horizon. Self-employment, it’s complete aggravation or famine.

I just keep thinking to myself- 1 month 1 week and 1 day until WDW. I can almost taste it. After 10 days away, I'll probably come back and be 50 pages behind on this thread though!

Hi! What adorable pictures from everyone! Once again, I wish I could figure out how to post them - Hayley said she'd play with it so maybe she can figure it out...she's very handy with such things!

ginamarie - hope things settle down and you can let go of these projects!! WDW is SO-o-o- close!!!

gems - Happy Anniversary!! Ours is later on this month...14 years - how on earth has that much time gone by??

nucpharm - don't stress too much about the party - I'm sure it will be wonderful! I think having Emma's party out of the house is an excellent idea...my girls are both February babies and I've been there/done that with the two-parties-within-a-few-weeks thing.

robin - fun pictures! I love the bags - I think you NEED many more cute personalized items. DMIL got one of those fancy machines for Christmas last year but I haven't seen much come out of it... :confused3 Hope everything goes perfectly with your test today!

glt - it was VERY cold around here, wasn't it? I was only out with the girls for a little while and I froze but they seemed oblivious. They were very bundled up. Carson didn't even really get out - just for pictures. I know what you mean about getting a group shot but forgetting to get one of just your own kids - done that several years. I did get a few cute ones of my three this year, though. One is hysterical - Hannah turned at the last second to do something and it looks like she is picking Carson's nose..I swear I could win a prize or something with it!!

BnB - POOR LUKE - no chocolate would be awful!!! I guess for now I should be saying, poor YOU, though, huh?

jill - glad the family had fun - I'm sure they missed you as much as you missed them. Have fun at school today - they'll be CRAZY I'm sure!

bellacam - Carson had Aidan's costume - I love it, of course! Hope the doctor's visit goes well and everything is going ok.

tasha - cute pictures and commentary! I remember wanting to have kids come trick-or-treating at our dorms and the powers that be said no - I was bummed.

Well, just tricked Carson into sleeping in the carseat by carrying him around the house in it - he's still asleep!! WOo hoo!!!

Had a "Bad Wife" moment today I think. DH called and said the head guy here stopped him in the hall and told him that if he really wanted this move they could "make it work" for him. That's great and all but I'm still not thinking it would be a full company move and we just can't afford to cover everything ourselves. I asked DH if the "partial move" would include the company purchasing our house in two months if (who am I kidding - when) it doesn't sell and he got mad at me. Thinking I'm un-supportive. Well, I think that's a very logical concern and he knows I want to move badly but not so badly I'd be willing us to get into financial trouble or be separated for months on end while paying for a mortgage and hotel. On a company move, they will purchase your home based on the average of three appraisals if it doesn't sell in two months - that's security that I need right now with winter coming and a dead market. SO, DH now thinks I'm not supporting him and that I'm all negative, etc....guess I should keep my big mouth shut for now since we don't really know anything.

Well, I'm gonna run around like crazy and see what I can accomplish.

Yay! I think I figured out how to put up a couple more pictures!

108-0807_IMG.jpg

I hope that works! If so, that's Robert (9), a ninja; Celeste (3), an angel; Jocelyn (11), a mad scientist, and she's holding Luke (8 months), a monkey. I know Luke's not looking at the camera, but it was the best "overall" shot.

Now, while I'm at it, just months later, here's two from WDW:

Dinner at 1900 Park Fare

107-0709_IMG.jpg

On the way in to POTC. Unfortunately, they didn't sell the actual pirate in the gift shop!

Oh, I hope this works!

P.S. Pay no attention to my messy family room--if I say it's just an abberation and it's not usually that bad, would you belive me?

It's official- I can no longer get pregnant! :woohoo: :woohoo: The Essure procedure worked. I'm a bit crampy and uncomfortable right now, but not bad. Such a relief to know it worked, no more birth control, etc.

BNB- thank you so much for sharing the pics of your kids! They are all so cute and now I feel like I can visualize them better- I know you posted a pic awhile back, but my memory ain't what it used to be. ;)

OK, well my momma is here making us spaghetti for dinner. :cloud9: DH was at the hospital with me, so my parents were babysitting.

Hey ladies. I'm so sorry I haven't been able to post or keep up with all of the comings and goings of late. I am literally exhausted at the end of each school day. Then, Jimmy and I are cooped up in the living room each night and he's getting really sick of it. I am, too, but I know it won't be forever.
Also, since my dishwasher was never fixed after it exploded all over the floor, I get to spend my evenings cleaning up the dinner dishes.

The contractors are going to start ripping and tearing tomorrow, so please say a little prayer for me that things go smoothly and we don't get a freak snow storm.

I am thinking of you all and hope you and your families are well.

Good evening ladies!

I can hear the girls in the other room bartering their candy with each other. It is cracking me up! :teeth: Meagan actually weighed the amount of candy she got last night….it was 6 ½ pounds. While I love candy that is just an obscene amount….it is making me ill just thinking about it. Ok, Meagan just came in here telling me she got a ton of snickers (she knows they are my favorite.) She also grabbed some computer paper and is going to make a graph of all the loot she got! :rotfl2: She told me that trick or treating is educational and she can apply her math knowledge to Halloween. (Something tells me that I need to lay off on the math here if she is doing this! ;) :lmao: )

I love all of the pictures! Keep them coming!

Lissawynn – We miss you and are thinking of you too. :grouphug: I’ll say a little prayer that this whole remodeling goes smoothly for you and quickly too! Take it easy and don’t worry about keeping up. Just post when you can to let us know you are ok.

Robin – What a relief for you to know that the Essure procedure worked! I bet you are so relieved. I love your mom’s embroidery work! BTW, you look great in your picture too! Your kids costumes are wonderful.

BNBmom – Thanks for posting the pictures of your kids. Like Robin said, it is great to be able to see them. I think your family room looks fine by the way.

Gems – Happy Anniversary!!! I’m so glad that you enjoyed your goodies! :goodvibes

SL – Did you figure out your classes for next semester yet? Lucas is a man after my own heart since it looks like he is a fan of snickers! :teeth: They are my favorite candy. The expression on his face is priceless!

Nucpharm – Good luck getting everything done for Matthew’s party. I can’t wait to see pictures!

Zalansky – I hope that you feel better very soon! I love the wig you wore in your pictures. Your family looks great!

GLT – I’m sorry to hear that it was so cold for you guys last night. We usually have a mixed bag of weather around here. Some years it is hot and some years it is freezing. It sounds like Leif had a blast though!

DisKim – I hope that you aren’t getting sick. Oh and that kid in your school who dressed like a condom machine made me scratch my head about what his parents were thinking. (I did get a laugh at the thought of someone dressing up like that.)

Ginamarie – I’m sorry to hear that work has been such a pain. I bet you will be so ready for your vacation next month.

Dizagain – I’ll say some prayers that everything works out with your move. :grouphug: Your question to your dh sounds like a logical one to me. Keep us posted.

Justhat – Too funny about the lady at the zoo. I haven’t been to the zoo in years, but the kids want to go back so I should take them before it gets too cold. BTW, I love your pictures of Henry and Madison. What cuties! Don’t feel too bad about Madison and Henry. It sounds like she just wants some special time with you which is totally normal. Have a great time on your trip!

Joats – How are you feeling today?

Tasha – Thanks for the Pooh and Piglet blessing! I needed that after my crazy day today! BTW, Kylie is so sweet as a little cowgirl. I still can’t get over how grown up she is.

Hillbeans – Awwww….Liam and Kevin are so sweet! I love the Kermit costume!

Tamie – Tylers is so cute as a Lion! Where did you find that costume? It is adorable!

WDWBetsy – Aubree is beautiful. I love her dressed up as Piglet!

Bellacam – How are you feeling these days? I think my favorite picture is of Aidan laughing in the leaves!

Floridafam – Don’t feel guilty at all about your trip. It is your birthday and you deserve a treat!

Hi to all the moms! :wave2:

Here are a few of the pictures my dh took last night.

John and his little friend dressed as chickens! (I thought they were duck costumes but was told today that they were actually chickens.)

ec3d43d5.jpg

Good night everyone! :wave2:

jill - John is soooooo cute! Him and his little friend are just adorable! I love it. LOL about your girls and the candy. Working math into halloween candy is pretty smart! The lion costume is from Old Navy.

lissawynn - I'm so sorry you are so wiped out! I really do hope the addition goes smoothly and quickly!!

alice - woo hoo that your procedure worked!! That's so great! We had spaghetti for dinner tonight too.

bnb - Great pictures! It's great to see your kids. Clever costumes!

diz - I don't think you're being a bad wife. I wouldn't want to accept something didn't have the full support of the company either. I wouldn't want to be stuck with a house in this market.

gina- sorry work was awful for you!

nucpharm - Have fun birthday planning.

I gave Tyler his own bowl of yogurt and a spoon yesterday and let him have at it. He loved it! He was a mess, but it was fun. We have a bib with sleeves on it, so it wasn't too bad. He's getting the hang of the fork and spoon thing. It's fun to watch kids learn stuff like that.

We picked up a new Elmo DVD for the flight to WDW. I'm packing crayons, books, bubbles, a travel doodlepro and the DVD for distractions for our flight and standing in line. Anyone have any other good ideas?

I wasn't too surprised about Dancing With the Stars tonight, but now the next ellimation will be a tough one!

Talk to you all later.

Tamie

Diz- if it makes you feel any better, my DH and I have had several misunderstandings like that in the past. He thinks I am attacking him personally when I am upset about something else. Putting your house up for sale and moving to another state is a HUGE deal, and I don't blame you a bit for wanting to know what his company will do to help you move. I'm sure you two will smooth things over.

lissawynn- good weather PD your way! :wizard: And fast construction workers!

Jill- :rotfl: at your girls making GRAPHS about their candy. Come to think of it, that is TOTALLY something I would have done. At least done tallies. I bet Sam has close to 6-7 pounds of candy. He got quite a bit in class, and then a ton more last night. Josh is close, but he only got 1-2 pieces of candy at school (guess who was in charge of his party- my uptight, nosy neighbor- she was insistent that only 3 parents bring candy...and I was one of them. So guess what I did- sent FULL sized bars! :rotfl2: ). Anyway, John and his buddy are DARLING as little chickies!

GM- sorry work has been so crappy and out of your hands. I hope that more jobs will come up soon so you won't have to worry about finances.

Nuc- our Chuck E Cheese on this side of town is old too, but they keep it really, really clean inside. I was actually quite impressed with our CEC- the service was impeccable the last 2-3 times we went, and one of the times was a Military appreciation night. They let us military folks in last Christmas season, for FREE. A free large pizza, 4 sodas to drink and 40 tokens or so per family. Very, very nice and I wrote a letter of thanks to corporate. Anyway, I hope your CEC was a good one.

Kim- Feel better soon!

Tamie- my best advice for distractions on the plane, besides what you packed already, are little snacks that you can dole out one by one. like gummi snacks, those new Yogos, skittles, m and ms, little bitty cheez its...Molly can be pacified for a LONG time by doling out little candies one by one by one. She also likes the touch and feel type books. My boys liked little toys like little action figures or cars around 18 months or so.

I didn't get to tell you guys that I had to go back to the tire place today, as my tire nearly flat this morning. Same tire. I was po'ed. So I drove the 2 miles on the almost flat tire (stupid, I know, but I wasn't about to fart around waiting for AAA) and dropped it off, said "I was just here on Monday for the same tire....I guess it wasn't done correctly....". So then we walked about 3 blocks to the big all-in-one store. I wanted to get those Disney Princess Polly Pocket type things for Molly, to set aside for either Christmas or her Bday- they were on sale for only $8! My mom got Snow and Ariel yesterday, but I wanted to get her a couple more, as I am obsessed and have wanted to buy those things for YEARS (Disney has had them at the parks for some time). Anyway, they were OUT and I had to get a raincheck! Poutie Pout. I might go to a different store tomorrow to see if they have any more. Then we went to the food part of the store and shared a melon cup and some chicken strips. Big thrill. Then we fought the traffic out of the parking lot (I at least had the stroller) back to the tire place.

Kind of a funny story- After my procedure, the nurse helped me in the bathroom, carrying the sheet around me, as all the dye is dripping back out (sorry if TMI) and she said she had put a pad in there for me to use. Well, I am getting dressed and don't see the pad, but am hesitant to open the bathroom door again- one door opened back up into the xray room and didn't have a handle, and the other door went out to the hallway and then I would have to knock on the door to try and get her attention...so I just improvised instead with paper towels.  So, I'm walking down the long hallway, dressed, with DH and I hear the nurse yell, "Robin! Do you want this? I'm sorry I forgot it!" It was the pad! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: DH was like, "What is that?" (no one else was around). So I said, "Um, yes, I didn't see it so I improvised." :lmao: Maybe you had to be there.

Just a quick post and I'll get caught up later.

Robin,

:rotfl2: About the pad. I'm so glad the Essure worked!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad the HSG wasn't too bad.

dizagain,

Don't feel bad. I think that same conversation happened to me and my DH. It's not your fault and we know exactly what you meant. I questioned something when DH and I were moving and he did the same thing. He's probably just a little nervous, too.

I hope everything works out for you.

Thanks for all the advice on our trip. I had a good cry last night. Do you ever have one of those days where you just need to cry?? I was thinking about DH being sick, our trip, my Birthday, etc. There was an article in the local paper about the fact that Africanized Honey Bees have arrived in our county and even that upset me. I hate bees and to think that DH or one of the kids could run into these some day really upset me.

I'm better today.

I'll try and post some Halloween pics later. I love all the cute pictures. It looks like all of our kiddos had fun.

Gotta get the kids off to school. :wave2:

glt - We've had Halloweens where snowsuits were in order, but this year was surprisingly mild.

Alice28 - Glad your procedure went well. Congrats on it being successful! I think I would have been improvising, too.

gem - Happy anniversary!

lissawynn - I hope the house goes smoothly. Pop in to update when you can!

nucpharm - Good luck planning the parties

ginamarie - I'm sorry work is cutting into your family time. I hope everything is worked out.

dizagain - I hope the move works out. Sorry you and your DH are miscommunicating about it.

BnB - I love your pictures!!! That monkey costume is great.

llij - I can see where John's costume is a chicken, but if you told me it was a duck, I'd have believed it was a duck. Thanks for asking, I almost got my class situation squared away. I'm only going to start out taking one. I know what I want and I just need to get in touch with Admissions.

tkyes - Tyler and the yogurt sound adorable! Sounds like you got entertainment and distractions covered for your trip.

ff - Sometimes a good cry is all you need. I hope you feel better. :grouphug:

I don't have much going on today. I'm not even sure I need to go to Target (shocking!!!) I think I might go to Joann Etc instead and look around at the scrapbooking stuff. I do have a TON of laundry to do. Have a great day, everyone!
