The New Misfit Island Resort, make your reservation today!

The announcement today only said "Summer" I know so helpful.

Gisele. I have a question for you. When you took Amtrak to DLR, did you always take it to Anaheim?

I'm looking hard at a train trip, but from SLC it seems the Amtrak website has trouble booking it to Anaheim, but if to LAX(Union station) it works, of course that doesn't get me to DLR.

Does this mean that there is a PTR/TR in the wind? popcorn::

I don't read blogs normally unless I am doing research. So I don't know what anyone is talking about here.

~~ I love you Phil, and you will forever be with me! Forever my very best and most special friend! I love you to no end. ~~

The way I see it, it would be so much easier to travel from those two points by plane.

ANA does. LAX has many tasty foodie options, and foodie wagons too. It is interesting. The train has a pretty good variety of food options too. Just be careful walking back to your seat, for your weenie might fall out. And it can be so easy for one of the poor passengers to end up with a nice Coke spritz on top of their do.

I'd hate to be stuck in a situation when there is a long layover without food to walk too.

In Salt Lake the station is in a not nice part of town. And it always stops there late at night.

Particularly if your weenie falls out. :lmao:

I don't like to eat hotdogs. I shouldn't have the same trouble she did.

So, any further update on travel plans? Is it just you going?

No, if i went DS would go with. Not real sure if it's a good idea. It would be nice to see a lot of things, but the whole idea seems convoluted.

Sometimes it's about the journey; not the destination. Why don't you stay a night/day in SLC? Catch the connection on the next day?

Becaust the train leave at 11:00 pm and returns at 3:05 am.

It's easy enough to leave for SLC after school ends to catch the train. Probably not, but possibly drive home on the return. I have some friend and some close where I could sleep on thier couch if I need to. I've been to SLC a lot it's really not somewhere I would want to visit again.

I hope it works out for you, whichever way you decide.

When are you thinking of going?
