The Murphy's are LIVE from the Beach Club (4/30-5/7)

Ok, there is going to be a wait on the pics from today because Photobucket is moving really slowly! I might be exceeding my bandwidth.

Anyway, after riding rides all morning we ate lunch at Cosmic Ray's. They have a new policy that you can't sit down at a table unless you have a tray of food. Which is nice because people can't hog tables and sit there without eating or while someone is purchasing. But I did see some very frazzled moms with multiple kids waiting and I felt sorry for them that they couldn't get a table and sit down. But I think overall it's a good policy.

After lunch we did Pooh and the Pooh playground. Then left the park around 1:30. The bus back to BC was just YC/BC which was nice. We were the last ones to get on so we had to stand, but that was better than waiting for the next one!!

DH and the kids are down at the pool... SAB... waiting on me so I better run! I'll let these pics upload while we're down there and then post them when I get back.

Tonight.... Epcot and Teppen Edo!!!! :cool1:

That makes me happy! :thumbsup2 DH and I usually have too much food for one to handle while the other saves. So sometimes it can be frustrating finding a table.

I enjoyed your pics.

Hey everyone! :) We are back in the room now after a fun evening at Epcot! :cool1: We started with dinner at Teppen Edo, formerly Teppenyaki, and it was great! We had a fabulous chef and a wonderful meal! :goodvibes The kids loved it! DH had the steak and shrimp combo, I had the steak and chicken combo, and the kids had the chicken kids meals. I love the renovations in Japan, both restaurants look a million times better.

After dinner we walked around the world showcase... we rode the new version of the Mexico ride... the kids liked it but DH said he liked the old version better. I guess I didn't really care either way. The new one seems more kid friendly.

After that we headed over to Test Track, we lucked out and got on the ride just as they were announcing LAST CALL!!! So we walked on with about a 5 minute wait. Great ride, as usual! :thumbsup2

By the time we got off TT the park was closing so we spent a little bit of time in MouseGears and then left. Now we are back in our room just relaxing... the boys are doing some homework. ;)

Tomorrow.... Pirate and Princess Party and Whispering Canyon Cafe!

Ok folks... we arrived in Orlando safe and sound and quickly ran downstairs to catch ME. We really lucked out because a bus to Beach Club was just leaving and we got the last 4 seats! :) The lines for the value resorts were HUGE!!!! I wonder how long those people stood there waiting for buses to come!!!

Check-in went very smoothly. We were given the exact room we requested.... full balcony, daybed, Illuminations view. :woohoo: So we quickly unpacked, changed clothes, and headed to the Studios!!! :cheer2:
So where are you? We are on the 2nd floor just off the main lobby (go up the steps and our room is on the left). I hope we see you around the resort! Tomorrow we eat at Cape May at 10:45am and then go to DTD and the P&PP tomorrow night. Saturday we are swimming at SAB.

BTW, what room category do you have to get the Illuminations view? And could you PM what room it is so I know for next time what to ask for?

ETA: we were at Epcot today too! The kids loved Soarin' and Test Track.

Have fun!

Oh, that stinks!
I usually wrangle the kids and set up our eating area while DH gets the food. What do they expect us to do??!! :scared1:

THAT'S TOO CUTE!!!

I'm glad you are having a super time at the BC. Stop by and say hi on Sunday ... I'm the lobby greeter on Art's days off (Sunday and Monday). Don't you just love the new Japan restaurant? I loved it before but now it's even better. I always order extra noodles. If only my noodles at home would taste like that!!!

It sounds like you are having so much fun. The pics are super awesome. We were considering trying Teppan Edo for our next trip. I'm glad to hear you had such a great meal there. It has been added to our list.

We're up on the 3rd floor and clear down on the far end near Epcot. Standard view category because we aren't overlooking any water. But the Illuminations view from here is very good. We can see all the high fireworks, but nothing on the ground or the globe. We are very close to the stairwell exit to Epcot which is so nice... and QUICK! :)

I have been looking around for triplets! We just got back from Epcot (1:30 PM) and we're heading down to SAB. Then the bus to MK for P&P party tonight. :)

Hi Teena!!! :) We will definitely stop by and say HELLO!!! ;)

Day 3... just got back from Epcot and you can tell it's Friday. The park is pretty full... Soarin' was already up to 90 minutes around 10:00 AM and as we were leaving around 1:00 the fastpasses were almost gone for the whole day. We didn't do a whole lot... Nemo line was out the building, it said 30 minutes but I bet it was longer than that. We did Living with the Land, Soarin', Imagination, and Innoventions. Now we're back to swim and relax before the big P&P Party tonight. pirate:

The weather is gorgeous!!! Hot but a nice cool breeze blowing. :goodvibes

Epcot pictures on there way........

Subscribing! Thanks for your reports! Our trip is only 2 weeks away, so we are living vicariously through you!

My husband's parents are also down here at WDW staying at the BWV. They brought us all new Red Sox shirts... they live just north of Boston. :)

What part of Mass are your inlaws from? I grew up in Gloucester (north of Boston on the coast) and my parents and most of my extended family still lives there.

Small world! Beverly and Danvers are so close to home. I used to play Beverly and Danvers in field hockey games in High School.

I always thought growing up that places like Indiana and Ohio were SO FAR away--but now that we drive out east fairly regularly it doesn't seem worlds away anymore.
