The Murphy's are LIVE from the Beach Club (4/30-5/7)

Just want to say thanks for the live report! It is soo much FUN FUN FUN!
Our trip to the Beach Club is just 26 days away. Your room location does sound very convenient. This is our first trip to the Beach Club area. The buses sound very crowded...I wonder if we should rent a car instead???

Hope your evening is filled with lots of Pirate Fun! yo-ho-ho! Best wishes!

We are back!!! And dead tired!!!! :lmao: It's almost 1:00 AM... we had an awesome time at the P&P party!!! Our oldest DS got chosen to go up on stage with Captain Jack for the Pirate tutorial! Our youngest DS pulled the sword from the stone in fantasyland! DH and DS rode BTMR 5 times in a row without getting off. ;) We did Pirates twice, Peter Pan, Dumbo, Pooh, Teacups, Astro Orbitor, Indy Speedway, Buzz Lightyear, Splash Mountain, uhhhh... I think that's about it. We really got on everything quickly. Our longest wait was probably about 5-10 minutes for Peter Pan, everything else was walk-on. :) The parade was AWESOME, and the fireworks were FANTASTIC!!!! :cool1: I think I liked them even better than Wishes! We did the games, and the treasure hunt. Oh, also meet and greet with Captain Jack. I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff but I'm so exhausted I'm about to fall asleep at the computer. pirate:

Tomorrow is Day 4.... morning at MGM, lunch at Sci-fi, then Epcot at night and dinner at Le Cellier!!! :cloud9:

pics to come..........

and 5,000 posts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, pics may have to wait a couple of days. Photobucket is going super slow... and our second day of internet is about to run out. I think we're going to take a day or two off from this in-room internet service... 10 bucks a day is a killer.... but I'll be back eventually!!! ;)

In the meantime, if anyone has questions about Beach Club, or the parks, or the weather, or anything that is currently going on, go ahead and post those questions and I'll answer them once I get back here again. :goodvibes

4 more full days at the parks... we leave Wednesday May 7th!

Great report! :thumbsup2

We leave in 2 1/2 weeks and I'd love to get the kids some fanny packs. I noticed your kids had some in the pictures (they are adorable btw)-- I have 4 boys. Where did you get the packs at? Do they store pins, my 9 & 7 yr old want to try the pin trading this time around.

Thanks!!! :goodvibes

Ah...You are there...soaking up the Disney magic & having a fabulous time : pixiedust: ...I am reading posts on the DIS, at home. :surfweb::sad: Sigh, I am so envious. However I am glad you all are having such a great time. It sounds like such a wonderful trip so far. Keep up the fun and keep posting. Can't wait to hear what happens next. Maybe if I close my eyes and play Disney music in the background it will feel like I am there with you. Kinda hard to read the posts that way though.

Oh - GO SOX!!!!

Our room sort of looks over the back of England. (MK, Epcot, Teppen Edo)

Sounds like you've had magic all the way! Everything seems to be happening in great cosmic order with getting the room you want, showing up just as the bus is ready to leave, and running into the Disney Channel stars. I'm so glad to read a positive trip report.

Also, I've always wanted a room over the sidewalk area (not main walkway) close to EPCOT and it sounds like that's where you are.

Great reports!

Glad to hear you had a great time at P&P party! I understand the internet costs....can't wait to hear more when you log on again.
HAVE FUN!

Hi Erika!
I'm wondering how you liked the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot? This is one of my all time favorite special things that Disney does. I think when we arrive on Wednesday, after check in, we are going to head right on over there.
Glad you all are having a great time. :goodvibes
It looks like we will just miss each other as you are leaving on Wed.

Can't wait to get there!!!!!!!

BTW, I Love those Red Sox shirts on your boys. Good choice from the in laws! :thumbsup2

Love reading your blog and the pictures are great. Have a great time:wizard:

I am thoroughly enjoying your live report!!! Can't wait for more!!!!:wizard:

We got those fanny packs a couple of years ago in Tomorrowland. They are great! The kids carry their own sunglasses, autograph books, disposable cameras, etc. Also my DH's business card is in there in case they get lost from us. The only downside is making sure they don't leave them in the bathroom!!! ;)

Here I am!! :) After taking a day off I'll get you guys caught up on what's been happening here with us. ;) Yesterday we started the day sort of late, got to Disney Studios around 10:30, which was too late on a Saturday to really accomplish much. We caught the HS Musical show as we were walking in, then headed over to back of the Animation building to do meet/greet with Socerer Mickey. (pics coming!!) :goodvibes After that we walked down to the new "Pixar Studios" area but it was closed off for the castmember preview. Boooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sad1: We even stood there and tried to get a castmember to take us in with them. :lmao: I can't wait to do the new Toy Story ride. We are going to try again later in the week to see if we can catch a soft opening.

By the time we finished with that it was time for our lunch reservation at Sci-fi. YUM!!!! :lovestruc DH had the ribs, I had the GIANT burger, we both had milkshakes. It was a fantastic meal as usual. The only sad part is my youngest DS left his new Phineas and Ferb visor there and by the time we realized it and went back it was gone. :( Needless to say he is very upset about it. We have called Lost and Found several times checking back on it, but I'm trying to help him realize probably another little boy found it and is taking good care of it for him. Poor little guy. :sad1:

After that it was so HOT and CROWDED we decided to head back to BC and SAB. There wasn't any point staying at the studios and fighting the lines. Plus swimming sounded so good after that intense heat! ;)

So glad you checked back in with us. I just love LIVE reports!!! We are planning on visiting next year at this time, and I'm hoping it's not too hot. Can you post some pics of SAB? We're hoping to stay at the Beach Club.

Pirate and Princess Party pics (Friday May 2nd)... also a shot of the NEW contemporary villas! :)

Ok, so we left off with last night (Saturday night, DAY 4)... after swimming at SAB we showered and headed back to Epcot. We did Spaceship Earth (LOVE the new changes!!!!) stood under a shop to get out of the rain for a bit, then headed to Canada for dinner at Le Cellier. YUMMM! :thumbsup2 I have to say I feel the place isn't quite as special now that the dining plan has taken the "fine dining" aspect out... but the pretzel bread and cheese soup was wonderful, as usual. :) We all had steak, and FYI the mushroom risotto filet mignon was still on the menu, and we enjoyed the meal. After eating Epcot was closed so we went to Beach n Creme for ice cream! (where we put it I don't know) :lmao: Then headed off to bed. I think we're all definitely starting to feel tired.

Pics of yesterday uploading now.....:yay:

Today (Sunday May 4th... DAY 5 of the trip) :cool1:

Got sort of a late start this morning, headed to Epcot around 10:00 AM or so. A very nice lady walking through the World Showcase gave us fastpasses to Soarin'. :worship: Which was awesome!!! Thank you lady!!! So we started there... the park is very hot and crowded today... Soarin' line is spilling out into the lobby area so that is a bad sign. Luckily we got right on... I had a feeling this was going to be our only ride today. We also had fastpasses for Mission Space and Test Track, but sadly Test Track broke down and was closed. Not sure if it will reopen today. The doors were completely locked up. But we did make it on to Mission Space (green team... or as youngest DS calls it, the "non spinny" side) The regular orange team side wasn't moving, they announced that it was down for some technical issues. :sad2:

Later we headed to Mexico to eat lunch... then walked around the World Showcase, got really, really, really hot, and decided to come back to BC for swimming. I am hoping Monday and Tuesday will be better park days for us. There is some kind of minnie marathon thing going on and the parks are really full of those people. And of course just the regular weekend crowds, locals, tour groups, etc.

Tonight is dinner at Kona Cafe (my favorite!) and EMHs at MK until 2:00 AM! :scared1: Doubt we'll make it that long. ;)

Pics from today uploading!!!!
