Ok, the circle game is pretty simple...
You make a ring with your index finger & thumb (like the "ok" sign) & you try to get someone else (aware of the game) to look at it. It can't be above your shoulders (some people say waist). If they look at it, you get to punch them twice in the arm. If they can stick their index finer in the ring & "break the ring" (manage to pull their finger through the guy's index finger & thumb), they get to do the punching.

If you're not sure if someone knows the game you just call their name, make the ring & watch their reaction when they look. If they have a puzzled look, they probably don't know. If they look & then roll their eyes like "oh crap" (sometimes they'll even offer up their arm), you know they know.

Also, we played it where if someone tries to break the ring with their finger, and you squeeze the ring and catch the finger, you get to deliver three shots to the arm. Totally juvenile......yet we played it all the time.

OK, at least I now know my DH is not a) crazy and b) alone. He laughs hysterically every time the ******* trailer comes on TV and I'm always trying to figure out what's so funny. I was beginning to think one of us was defective, but now I see it's just one of those guy/girl differences.
