Now you're really reaching. That is a legitimate expression that I hear often in my area and to immediately jump to the conclusion that it's meant in a racially biased way is a bit much IMO.Now there's a post on the Hillary thread saying that Wright is like "a noose around his (Obama's) neck".And it's not like it was an "accident"...the original post said Wright would be a "thorn in Obama's side"...which is certainly a legitimate, if arguable point...but at least it's not offensive. But that wasn't enough, apparently, for some posters (who are now being applauded). No...it had to be "a noose around his neck."
What's that phrase I used to see..."You can't make this stuff up"?
Like I said...when you guys decide to rid yourself of that kind of thing, I'm sure there will be plenty of people that will gladly discuss issues with you. Until then...
Get rid of that kind of thing? If I knew what that thing was, I'd gladly try to get rid of it.

Right now they're concentrating on green policies
They're actually to the left of our ruling Labour party, IMO, which is similar to your Democratic party. Realistically, although I wish they were that little bit more left wing, I'd have few qualms with them getting elected. It's not like they're a bunch of "let's invade country x" Republicans
