Right?!?! I'm telling you...every once in awhile, it smells like stale cotton candy farts and Old Granddad whiskey in here.

Great line.............thanks.
I am glad y'all are posting in here again. I was starting to get concerned when you went nearly 3 weeks without a post in the Liberal Thread.
You can't give it up now........without liberals, who would us conservatives have "left" to blame when things go wrong?![]()
We already used up Communists and Socialists......... of course this does leave Barney and the Teletubbies......
Have a nice evening (moving carefully for the door).......

Since when does Nancy Pelosi have a say so about the Democratic ticket? She needs to get back to doing whatever it is she does.
That may be and she can certainly state her opinion. But she sounds way too bossy here. The final decision is the candidates' and she is just one of many that will be putting in their two cents I'm sure.Ahhh, because she's Speaker of the House and that makes her the 2nd ranking politician in the Democratic party.
Yep, Halliburton, Kellogg, Brown, and Root and... oh, heck the list goes on and on. Here's a link with more...

Where'd this tired old thread come from? I haven't seen it since we Obama supporters started hating Hillary supporters and vice versa.![]()
Anyone, without getting to crazy, hear anything new about Hillary getting the nod to be Obama's vice president? Would that placate some of the Hillary supporters to vote for Obama or has the Obama campaign and/or the DNC gone too far to alienate you?
To use one of LuvDukes' lines - CLEAN UP ON PAGE 19 !!
I have heard Speaker Pelosi reiterate the no "Dream ticket" a few times and frankly I think it's just a ego-driven power trip.
She currently is third in line for the Presidency and if Senator Clinton becomes Vice-President - Bye-bye Nancy.
I'm hoping the DNC puts Senator Clinton on the ticket because IMO it would be unbeatable in November.
I have seen on the Obama supporters thread a few names mentioned as a potential running mate for Senator Obama. Some are good. Some are pretty far-fetched.
Unless it's Senator Clinton, there will be no other woman considered. Why?
She is the most qualified, period.
Senator Biden - for fun, Google Joseph Biden and plaguarism and see why the DNC won't go down that road.
John Edwards - been there, done that. Attorney General is a better position for Mr Edwards.
I do like Mr. Webb from Virginia, but with the party being in an uproar, Mrs. Clinton will be a safe and logical choice.
I will be very interested in the running mate that is chosen for Senator Obama, he will have some interesting personalities in the running.
I thought I'd add to the thread by quoting the benevolent President George W. Bush:
"Golly, I sure didn't know the President had to make so many decisions!"

It would surely placate me.![]()
