I think someone from the con. thread popped in already to clarify, but I took honugirl's statement to mean that she has Cushing's disease. :confused3

She does, among other issues. Please keep her in your prayers. She can use them. She's got alot on her plate to deal with medical-wise, and she's been a true inspiration with her optimism and spunk. We love her:blush:

I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers. It sounds like she has a good support system in place with you guys. :goodvibes

Have fun at work today. I get MLK Jr Day off. :wave2:

Lucky you!

28 HOURS!!!!!

Moring, Libs! So who here's playing hooky from work tomorrow? :)

Not me. :charac2: I really wanted to take a vacation day, but I was off work sick for three days last week, and we're off for MLK Jr. day today. My boss isn't known for her easy-going nature, so I'm going to play it safe and go to work. The good news is I am a graphic designer so I'm at the computer all day--I can watch the coverage online. No celebratory drinks until post-work happy hour though. :sad2:

Not me. I have way too many things I need to get done in the weeks leading up to maternity leave. But I'll be watching the inauguration at noon, that's for sure. :cheer2:

My wife and I are definitely staying home, and are milling over the possibility of letting those employees who want to take a day off to do so. I have a feeling that most will want to work...guess I'll have to get a feel for what everyone wants to do when I get into work this morning.

Squee! You're having a baby soon!! Are you ready? ;)

"It's just little ole me" tap tap tap "tap dancin' for Jeeeezussssssssss."

Sorry, just feeling musical this morning.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

A lot of places will allow their employees to gather around the TV tomorrow and watch this historic event..I was surprised, since all Dems/Libs are on welfare, but maybe the Cons want to stop their toiling and take a look see..:upsidedow

We're probably having snow tomorrow, which is nothing if you're not in NC, but kind of huge here. We haven't had a real snow day in two years. I'd be excited, but the kids were out all last week because they (and I) were sick. I was kind of hoping to clean the house. Dirty houses make me sad.:sad1:

I'm still tap dancing, though. In case anyone cares.

:rotfl2: I care. Tap away. Jesus loves you.

I am so jealous that you are getting snow. I'm north of you, near the 'mountains' and we STILL haven't gotten a good snow. It stopped snowing the year after we bought that darn snow blower. :sad2:

We've got a bottle of Veuve Clicquot in the fridge that's just begging to be opened!! :thumbsup2

Almost. I have to go wake DH--he has the holiday off too--and make him finish painting the nursery. We have a few items to get (like some newborn clothes, some crib sheets, some waterproof pads and a changing table pad), but for the most part we're ready. In a couple of weeks, I'll be full term and she can come any time. I'm thinking she'll be late; I'm due 2/19.

Oh, and she needs a middle name. :rotfl:

We had several inches of snow Saturday night in the Pocono's and more here near NYC last night....A winter wonderland. If, you don't have to travel in it!

What's her first name????

I work in DC--our office is closed today and tomorrow. My daughter and I will be making our way downtown very early tomorrow. Off Target shortly to buy thermal shirts and pants.

I wish I could go. But standing around all day in the cold isn't in the cards for me. :(
