It's not a bookstore; technically it does "sell something" but the average tourist doesn't consider this a spot where "something is sold". I'm trying to think of hints...before visiting a spot like this they consider location, price, convenience, affordability and safety.

1 year and 1 day later the Northern Lights are visible in Texas! Allie even sees them in Florida too! As usual WE were "late to the party" ... by the time we drove out to the country they were very faint. First picture is from Amanda, then Sara's and then mine!

They were visible in NH too. I didn’t see much of them. By the time I saw pictures on facebook I didn’t feel like driving to a dark open area.

Sara happened to be driving home when she saw them and Amanda has an app on her phone that notified her. It was around 8 PM CST. We drove out to Sara's but they were pretty faint and it was chilly out so we just came back home. Not 10 minutes later, Sara called and said she could see them again! I just walked to the back part of our property where I could see the horizon above the tree tops and the sky was a faint pink so took a picture and there they were! We'd seen before that they show up on pictures before the naked eye can see them! Amanda had to drive from her property (they're surrounded by TALL trees) to an open area about a mile away and she got some really nice pictures!



There's an even better chance tonight of seeing them so maybe you could drive out to a clear area a little earlier!

Just saw some video on Weather Channel of the lights from NH...you need to try to get to an open spot...they were BEAUTIFUL! You had the green with a touch of pink...really pretty!
