Update on my dd in DC..

Finally got to talk to her. They were walking all over DC today. I think her feet are going to fall off.

They left the concert after Shakira performed. She was way in the back beind the water. Said it is was awesome.

She'll remember this for the rest of her life. She'll always be able to say, "I was there."

I just thought I'd mention that you seriously crack me up.

I agree on the juvenile aspect of the behavior. However, even my 12 year old wouldn't make fun at the expense of children (and adults) who suffer from a disease.

About Will -- If you can see the show in NY, go for it! I'm way too far away to enjoy a Broadway show. I guess I'll have to wait until it's on TV or DVD.

The choir from the Ron Clark Academy was on the local news (ABC7), what an amazing group of kids. It's refreshing to see their optimism and excitement. Unless you're the Grinch of course, and the whole thought of hope and change makes you want to vomit.

Reading comprehension 101 is a great tool. Nobody is/was making fun of sick kids, including one of our own who HAS Cushing's Disease, but hey, if it makes you feel better to think we are, then go right ahead and believe what you must. Your perception must be reality, right?

It is a fun day today, actually. I've already been here for 2 hours, and we're getting free lunch today....then I get to go home to my husband and my kids and watch the premiere of Glenn Beck on Fox News today, then 24 tonight...
