So I picked up an external keyboard tonight at Wal Mart and OMG I HAVE A WORKING KEYBOARD AGAIN YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

So I made the Le Cellier cheese soup today! I started taking pictures after some of it was already cooking

After browning the bacon, in went the celery and red onion.

Steaks, the main course.

Pretzel rolls!

Everything that went into the soup except for what was already in the pot and the beer, which was in the basement.

Adding flour.

After adding the flour.

With the chicken broth.

My mom screwing around

Adding milk.

Just simmering

Adding the cheese!

With the Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces added, but not stirred in.

Adding in the beer, which was just Bud Lite.

All done!

This was the steak and baked potato that I had with it. I tend to smush the potato, add butter, and some cheese. The type of cheese varies.

Honestly, I can skip the Le Cellier soup. I'd had some at F&W last year and while I thought it was all right, I didn't think it was spectacular. I discovered what the problem is today, though. It's the beer and the fact that it's white cheddar, which is sharper than yellow cheddar (which I love). It may also be the Tabasco (not a fan of spicy stuff), but it's only a tablespoon, so I think it might be okay if I downsized it to a teaspoon.

There's a lot leftover in the fridge My parents really liked the soup, but my mom agrees that it could have gone without the beer. My dad loved it, though.
