Gotta get going to start pick-up activities. Will catch up later...but I took a quick look at the soup (looks good) and the Price is Right format!

I love Halloween![]()
I'll guess 303....
I've never used white cheddar when making the Beer Cheese Soup soup at home (because I don't have any on hand usually). I also use a different kind of beer. No offense, but the beer costs a little bit more than bud light, it might add more flavor with a good beer. However, since you don't drink beer, I can see why you might like it better without the beer.
I wish I could have some of that soup. Not on my eating plan.![]()
Probably, but I don't know yet. I haven't picked a costume, since I don't have the money to get one or the material to make one.

I've made it a few times and the first time, I made it on a whim and just used what I had on hand, so I made a few substitutions and it was good like that. I just never bothered to try it with the stuff on the recipe.
I understand, good things can come from second hand stores.
So do you think it's better to have more or less beer flavor?
DisneyFirefly is that the problem you had, too weak or too strong?

Like Beer, like wine. Don't use one for cooking that you wouldn't drink. I usually tend to prefer an ale flavor like Sam Adams, or a wheat beer, or Stella Artois so those are usually the beers that I have on hand. Something with a little more caramel flavor than something like Bud Light which tends to be more bitter and have no body. But that's just me, I can be a beverage snob.
