Tinned soup? WOW! :sad2:

DS wants pasta for dinner. I've got some bacon and some cream in the fridge. So I can always throw a pasta carbonara together.
I also got some minced beef from the market on Saturday morning and finally got the time to make a bolognaise sauce. If we don't eat it tonight, I can freeze it for another time.
Either option would be fine for DS and me.

It's DH that I need to worry about. He's vegetarian so both pasta sauce options are out of the question for him.
I was thinking of maybe going the Alfredo for him...just butter and parmesan. I just don't know how he'll cope with that. Actually, I just remembered that I bought some broccoli and green beans on Saturday. Maybe I'll do an Alfredo sauce with the greens. That might work!
Ohhh... Broccoli and green beans my fav YUMMY

Stir fry was my intentional meal and will wait for tomorrow. So I skipped the rice tonight.

Have to remember to get some ginger root, it hasn't been in my kitchen for a month and I never remember until I start cooking.

PIO - That must be difficult to make sure DH is taken care of while you and DS eat meat. I'd go nuts. We had sesame chuck steak marinated with onions, soy, sesame seeds, lemon, garlic and I think that was it S&P, but that's sort of a given.

Skiingdast - try freezing your ginger then you always have itcwhen you need it. I should have put some in tonight's veggies.

I'm so used to making two different meals every time I cook meat that it seems natural to me.

That's one of the reasons why we eat fish so much. Only one meal to make for all 3 of us :teeth:

I've done that before, because sometime they store has giant roots and sometimes small ones. But now I fresh out, and frozen out too.
