The Last to Post-2nd Edition - Part 3

I stayed at POR in May 2010 and wouldn't mind heading back to both POR and POFQ to see the new themed rooms.

I also stayed at BCV in May 2010 and we loved it. AKV interests me; but it doesn't have that proximity to Epcot that the other resorts have. I haven't seen WLV; so I'm always happy to consider something new and different. But I must admit, its going to be hard to beat an Epcot resort purely on location.

Yes BCV and those resorts I like the best for thier Epcot and DHS access.

But during F+W BCV would be nice to stumble back to, or be rolled back to, depending on if I have more F or W.

We bought at BCV to go to F&W every 2-3 years so this fits perfectly into our plans. We won't have quite as many of our points because we're talking about renting some to a friend for a week at NYE 2012-2013. If that doesn't come through we may have all our points banked.

Although this also depends on whether or not we go to Tokyo in 2013. We'll have to see how recovery progresses and if our reason for pushing it this soon is still an option. We should probably figure that one out by January of next year.

What are you planning to go to Tokyo for? A Disney trip or some other reason?

Tokyo is off my radar for a while. I think they will need to get the radiation down a fair bit before I consider it.

Mainly we want to go to Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea.

We have a reason to want to visit before 2015 (possibly sooner), but yeah the radiation needs to go down. For now I'm going to keep investigating it, but April 2013 was the plan before the Earthquake, at this point it will all be knowledge gained. We'll give it at least another six months before we consider making any hard plans.

I would keep the plans if you are going to Tokyo. At least to take advantage of lower travel rates and to help thier economy.

I wouldn't worry about Radiation unless you plan to go up the northeast coast.

think hard I messed it up today and had canned soup.

Tinned soup? WOW! :sad2:

DS wants pasta for dinner. I've got some bacon and some cream in the fridge. So I can always throw a pasta carbonara together.
I also got some minced beef from the market on Saturday morning and finally got the time to make a bolognaise sauce. If we don't eat it tonight, I can freeze it for another time.
Either option would be fine for DS and me.

It's DH that I need to worry about. He's vegetarian so both pasta sauce options are out of the question for him.
I was thinking of maybe going the Alfredo for him...just butter and parmesan. I just don't know how he'll cope with that. Actually, I just remembered that I bought some broccoli and green beans on Saturday. Maybe I'll do an Alfredo sauce with the greens. That might work!

I was thinking pasta too, but since I made spaghetti yesterday, I ruled that out quickly.

We had scrambled eggs on toast last night; so pasta was an easy choice.

I normally also keep noodles around - hokkien or the rice vermicelli - for those just in case moments. Plus, we always have rice to fall back on.
