Happy Sunday Pop Century Fans!

Admittedly, I haven't reall all 128+ pages of this thread (phew - that would take a looong time!). But, I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I recently took up running and I know I can run a 1.4 mile route around the sections and along Hourglass Lake. But, I've heard that there is some kind of obscure pathway leading over to Caribbean Beach and though that might make a nice change of pace for my morning runs. Anyone have any info on this? Where can I find it?

I know it has been mentioned befroe, I think on the old thread. But I do know it is technically not open to the public. I'm not sure where it is, and I kind of kept my eyes open when I was there. Only one person ever mentioned going on it in the past that I know of. Not sure if they still post here or not.

Thanks for the info on the life vests! Packing cereal & pop tarts is one thing but I really didn't want to take up precious luggage space with life vests.

Don't know how much cereal you were thinking of taking but I've had great luck using www.minimus.biz They sell all sorts of travel size items and individual bowls of cereal (great selection). They ship for free if you order $20. I order personal care items, cereal, other snacks and have it shipped right to Pop Century. They are on the west coast so I order 2 weeks out to be sure it gets there on time.

I love that website!!! I could go nuts with that. I actually bought a box of 20 mini boxes of Kelloggs cereals from Costco so I'll be taking some of those. I've bookmarked the site though! DH travels alot and he could definitely use lots of those things.

What do I need to get a medical fridge? A note from the dr? Will they want to see the meds? Right now we are on 5 that have to stay cold between dd#1, dd#2, and dh (hoping to be down to 3 or 4 by Sept). Are the POP fridges the little ones for meds or are they the larger ones?

We were there in 10/07 and needed a fridge for my granddaughters medicine. When we called to make our reservation they said all we needed was a note from the doctor. When we arrived we had a fridge and nobody ever asked to see the note or the meds.

I was looking at the Everything Pop Dining page http://Disney Dining Experience 20% Discount and right under the picture it says that. I'm all about the discount if there is such a thing.

The Disney Dining Experience is a paid membership that offers a dining discount (20% for food and drinks) program to eligible Florida residents and Annual Passholders age 21 and older as well as a small handful of other benefits. So unfortunately, I don't qualify.

Like Buckeye said you have to be a FL resident or AP holder to purchase membership in the program. One year fee is $60 so you need to spend $300 to get your $60 back. It is good at most table service places and because the values (and POFQ) don't have table service you can use it at the counter service places there. It is also good on alcohol and good for party size up to 10.

They do now add an 18% gratuity when you use the card at table service places but I was going to top anyways so you still save the 20%.
