Elizabeth sounds like you could use a

Thanks.:)

Thanks for the update Amy

Continued prayers & :wizard:

More :wizard: for Rees!!

So anyone watching Greys?

I watched, but I fell asleep as soon as it ended!

Deb I hope your boss's wife does not suffer to long  & :wizard:

I agree.

Elizabeth-I am so sorry that DS and school are not coming together. I think you are right it's time to have him reevaluated.

I have a call in to the diagnostician so we'll see where that goes.

Night all. I have to pack tomorrow and go help rip wall paper down and move furniture at my Grandparents.

Then I am leaving at 5:30pm to go camping.

Have a fantastic weekend.

Becky, loved the "behind the scenes" photos! Have fun this weekend!

Yup, BIG surprise. As a friend of my mom's once told her "she was so kind so go to such lengths to teach her teenagers that birth control isn't 100% reliable." She was born just before I turned 20. Kristi was 17 and Erin was 15.

My sister was born when I was 21 - the same year I got married. We have never lived in the same house. My other sister was born when I was 10. My mom had me in 1970, my one sister in 1980, and my other sister in 1992.

Robyn

I would keep it Christmas Eve and just tell Amy to get there when she can.

I agree. You understand that she might be late, so whatever time she gets there is fine. No problem.

Deb - Good luck with the last minute party details!

Heidi - DH and I have never gone anywhere without DS, but that's mostly because we don't have anyone to leave him with. I didn't allow my father to see DS because he was an alcoholic and very mean to my mother. After my parents finally divorced my mother still refused to set any boundaries so she never knew when my father would just show up. My sister (see above) is only 4 years older than DS and she is VERY jealous of him so she is VERY mean to him. The one year DH and I stayed in a hotel for our anniversary my sister was so mean to DS we almost went to pick him up after dinner. We have a couple of good friends who we would leave him with if we HAD to, but it isn't fair to ask them to care for him during the school year. They have jobs and getting DS off to school would really be a huge inconvenience for them. None of them have kids so it's not like I could return the favor. DH's schedule is such a nightmare I couldn't ever go away by myself, either, because there would be too much time that DS would be all alone.

OK, so this is as far as I have gotten in my trip report, I will have to work more on it soon. This is also a very busy week. I have meetings Monday-Wednesday night, none Thursday night and Friday I leave to go camping for the weekend.

I am probably going to take Friday off from work as I have had two busy weeks in a row. As long as I work the 35 hours a week and there is coverage in the office and my supervisor is OK with it I can do so.

My sheets are now clean and on my bed and I am heading there soon.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading and looking at your TR, Becky. You look FABULOUS! You should be so proud of yourself. I know that I am very proud of you and all your hard work. WTG, girl!!

It was so nice to come back and see Debbie and Marci post. Delighted that Debbie is finally feeling better. Wish that Marci would get well again too.!

Karen - I enjoyed the pix of Matthew and his BDay party!

Well, he had a good time, and we are still planning on going in December with the kids, but I'm sorry to say that I don't think he "get's it." :( Maybe when he is there with his daughter that will change. I don't know. :confused3

My brother didn't get it either, until he saw it through his son's eyes. The wonder of EVERYTHING we did became overwhelming twice on the trip and the tears in his eyes made me cry. I saw my little brother inside that big, tall man... :goodvibes

Elin,

Thank you for letting Stephanie and I sit with you at the Cape May Breakfast. It was really wonderful watching you watch your family, especially your nephew enjoy the characters.

Email update from Denise, 7:51 p.m.

Hi, everyone. The GI doctors just came by and every single biopsy came back normal. That is great news, but very confusing at the same time. He does not have any malabsorption issues, Celiac, food allergies, bacteria, or problems with food intolerance. The stomach biopsies did indicate gastritis (inflammation of the stomach and lower esophagus). He is to stay on Percavid and follow up with them in 3 months. They reviewed the scan results and believe the area that is distended and thickened in the colon is a partial bowel obstruction. So, Rees has been switched from GI service to surgical service. Both the GI doctors and I spoke with the surgeon. He is going to review all of Rees' tests, see if anything else needs to be ordered, and come evaluate him here in the hospital tomorrow after lunch. If they are correct in the diagnosis that it is a partial bowel obstruction, then Rees will have surgery.

Rees had 2 episodes of pain today, and is not eating much at all. His tummy is very distended again too. His mood has been great today, he seems happier, and loved all his visitors! John and I want you all to know how blessed we are to have you praying for Rees and our family. Your response to help our family via calls, gifts and balloons sent to Rees, visits, meals, and help watching and transporting Brantley-Kate and Davis has been overwhelming and very much appreciated. With your support and God's grace, we will find a way to help Rees.

I will send out an update as soon as I talk to the surgeon tomorrow.

God bless~

Denise
thanks for the update Amy

I only have a couple of pics, and they were from the Party of the Senses with Elin and her daughters. The pic of all 4 of us is a bit dark, so I'll leave it to Jonathan's PhotoShop skills to do something with it.

But in the meantime, I took this picture of Elin and her daughters. I greatly enjoyed getting to spend time with the 3 of them. :goodvibes

Oh, I just love this one, Lindsay! Thanks for posting it. Get Jonathan to work with photoshop so we can see how gorgeous the four of us were together that night. :goodvibes I told Lindsay that they colud have all been my daughters! It was so much fun. thanks for coming with us.

Jennifer, prayers for Virginia. Have you had any sunlight to "bathe" her in?

Elizabeth, I'm sorry things are so frustrating in your household. Think happy thoughts! :grouphug:

Anne Marie, I enjoyed your TR and pictures! That's so cool that you and Chanon got to ride Soarin' by yourselves!

Elin, how's the catching up going? ;)

yes but it has been cool here 50's-60's

That is a great pic of Elin and her DDs!:) Did Kathrin say how her interviews went?

It is possible that someone has already answered this... but, they went very well. The first company called her at 9:05 the second morning and asked her to come in that afternoon for a second interview! We have our fingers crossed that she hears something soon. Thanks for asking, Elizabeth. :goodvibes

Sorry Janet..... :(

From wdwmagic:
The reopening of Spaceship Earth has been pushed back to February 19th 2008 according to the official Walt Disney World site. There is no information about what has caused the delay.

Glynis, I love Christmas too. I have my Christmas CD's ready to go and will start listening to them soon. :santa:

congrats, Heidi. Well, that is on milestone I didn't inadvertently get to have you all laughing at! Still catching up......

So my boss called me at MCO to discuss my schedule. His wife has cancer throughout her body and has taken a turn for the worse. She travelled to Maryland a few weeks ago to spend time with her parents and children as she knows that the end is near. Apparently her liver is now failing and they are not sure how much longer she has. He has gone to be with her and there is no telling when he will return. We are just praying for a peaceful death as she has suffered with this for years. It all started as breast cancer which they removed and thought that she had a full recovery, but it came back in her lungs then her bones. So scary. Anyway I was planning to have the boys big family part next Saturday, but now I need to work and given the circumstances I fully understand. I think I may do their party on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving as out of town relatives will be around. Now I have a month to actually plan it. For some reason I have not felt like planning it this time which is very unlike me. Maybe I had a preminision of this :confused3
prayers for the family.
