Have fun, Tammi.

I'm going to hop in the shower. We are taking the kids roller skating this morning, then we are on a mission to find a pumpkin that hasn't floated away. Have a good day everyone!

Yay for Patrick!:cool1: I'm glad somebody fixed the pic for you!

Now THAT was funny!:lmao:

DS was 7 lbs. exactly and 21 inches.

I hope things continue to improve!:wizard:

I keep forgetting to say "Congrats!" to Anne Marie & Chanon on their dream! Very cool!

Denise, I am wishing all the best for Rees! Good for you for NOT giving up! I hope the surgery is successful and his recovery is easy!

Glad Colby is feeling up to pizza for breakfast!:scared: :rotfl2:

Well, the thing is, 11 DDA, along with assorted spouses, went off to WDW and left the rest of us here. I can pretty much guarantee if that happens again that another posting frenzy will follow.:rolleyes1

I have to say I never gave much thought to shark poop before.
Glad you enjoyed your evening! I hope the right job comes along soon!! (I did get an e-mail yesterday about a family needing a nanny for a precious newborn boy. Care to relocate?)

Feel better soon, Stephanie!
Drivel? Did you say DRIVEL? Oh, you are so in for it the next time you go out of town for a few days!:rotfl2:
I would LOVE to have a maid. I just can't bring myself to take money away from Disney just to have a clean house. My house has never been THAT clean, so why start now? :confused3

Tha pants are what make it look boyish. I think you could get away with the shirt and jacket for a girl.
I'm glad you worked things out with Amy!:goodvibes
I remember that mom!:scared1: I think you are right - she expected you to say "Oh, I'll be happy to look after the girls for you!":sad2:

Good morning, DDA!

Since I did a lousy job recapping I'm going to ditto Elizabeth.

I love the Pooh onesie but I agree it is a little too green for a girl. But I so want to be done with my shopping and I have a cart full of presents. It would make it so much easier. Why can't she like Minnie :confused3

About that mom, I felt funny (more of a being thought of as ungrateful I guess) posting it but I truly do think that was her ulterior motive to stopping by.

so what is everyone up to today

I am working at 3 PM. Not sure what time my boses will be home.:confused3 DS is going to come with me so he can see Princess. She LOVES it when he comes to play with her! She has this laugh that she only does for him - it comes from WAY down deep in the back of her throat. It is so funny!:rotfl2:

I am interrupting my own catch-up phase of DISing tonight to ask a favor from someone as yet unknown. While I was sitting at the airport waiting to go through security Wednesday evening, my student Patrick sent me a text message asking if I had taken my laptop along on vacation. When I told him no, he sent me some wonderful news that he could not wait to share until I got home.

He has been invited to play his composition from the national concert this past summer at the 2008 NAMM Convention (National Association of Music Merchants) which is held at the Anaheim Convention Center every January! Last year over 87,000 people attended this event!! I will tell you all more about it later, but the reason I am asking for help is that we need a headshot ASAP for all the publicity. His Mom took a decent one, with gorgeous foliage in the background. I fear that Yamaha Corporate will want a more "professional" background. Is there anyone who would have the time and be willing to change out the background for a more "mottled" backdrop in the next couple of hours?

I can email you the JPEG file if I have any takers. Just PM me so I dont miss any replies. If no one has the time, I fully understand! Just thought I would come here and ask before I send this off to California, with the possibility that it will be returned as unusable.

Sending you a PM as well, but did you get this taken care of?

ETA: Nevermind! Congratulations to Patrick!

Well I was going to get Lucy's 3 month picture taken but I am not dragging her out in the downpours. I need to get it done before she turns 4 months next Friday!

I really should drag Emma and Molly downstairs to work on the playroom but I just don't want too.

Later tonight I am headed out for a night of cards. It seems like it is becoming a weekly thing. :yay:

Shopping for gifts is never easy. Something always has to complicate the process.
I don't think any of us would think you were being ungrateful! That mom totally wanted to see if you would offer to keep the girls! The present for Lucy (while a nice gesture) was a cover for her REAL reason for stopping by. Tacky girl.:sad2: (Her, not you!:rotfl: )

Awww :goodvibes Pure joy!! Lucy's face absolutely lights up when Emma gets in her sight. She just smiles and smiles. It's just

I think that would be me. I arrive 11/8. I know we will do MK on the 9th. I would be happy to check it out for you. In fact, a friend has asked me to see if I could the small print for him. I could call you from the store. Maybe we could arrange a time around your lunch time for me to call you.

Thank you for checking! You can call my sell anytime, I'll PM you the number. Thanks again! :goodvibes

I just looked at DS's online grades and the teacher gave him a "100" for that project that he tossed together the other night!:scared1: Either she wasn't paying much attention or all of the other kids' projects were just thrown together, too! I really wish he would have gotten like an "85". Getting a perfect score isn't going to encourage him to do it right next time!
