I just saw the preview for Super Nanny tomorrow night. I knew that it had been filmed about 30 minutes from here. Turns out that the single mother of 2 sets of twins and another daughter is someone that I know. Actually I know her parents. Her father was my junior high social studies teacher and her mom used to work with me at a Bank while I was in college. Now I just have to watch it. The preview made the kids look like real terrors. I know that she is divorced from the father of the kids (he used to work in the deli at my supermarket) and she is now engaged to another man. Wow, something to talk about tomorrow night. :cool1: :cool1:

Deb

I love Super Nanny! I'll be watching!

The painting went great.
1 coat coverage. :woohoo:
I think it will match the new bedding just fine.

By the way, I love the bedding! It's so classy!

Hello Ya'll :wave2:

I have been busy the last couple of weeks so I have only been reading and not posting. I am glad to see everyone is doing good.

Becky: Remember being a Mom is a full-time job in itself. I honestly don't see how you do it. I work 9-5 at my job and then when I get home it is out the door again to sports activities. Remember to take some time for yourself.

Jo: Love the new bedding!!! You will definitely get to sleep later doing the middle school hours. Austin is now in 6th grade and he doesn't get on the bus until 8:40am!!!! I sit at the end of the driveway waiting for the bus to come before I leave. But Alex still has to be up by 6:45am to catch his bus at 7:30am. Oh well......nothing like being a Mom.

I missed ya'll when things were busy so I will keep checking back in today. Let me know if I missed anything important.

Lynn

GOOD MORNING DDA!!!!!!

How is everyone doing today? I for the first time in a while feel like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We had a great weekend - Friday night we tried to go to the Fish Fry at our church and it had over an hour wait - for a fish fry!??!?!? We didn't wait but had a very nice family dinner out - then DH and I watched Just Like Heaven with reese witherspoon - it is a cute movie!

On Saturday - my parents took the kids to the circus and I got in some shopping and then Steve and I went to dinner with friends and to a casino riverboat - Steve and I aren't big gamblers and lost $10 on the slots - the couple we were with lost $450 - :faint: did I mention they are engaged and have no kids and make really good money? oh to be young and carefree again!!! The guys said - we're going to spend it somewhere - what is $100 - Steve said - dance lessons for two months, Nicks spring clothes, soccer - it was very funny!!!

Then yesterday we went to IHOP for breakfast after church and to the Museum center - the kids love to go there and we had a lot of fun!

I hope that maybe spring will start to stick and that we can start to spend more time outside!

Happy Birthday Ramiro!!!!

Well, I'm glad to see that you are doing ok. I've missed your posts. Take care of yourself. The second trimester was always the easiest for me. Hopefully you'll have some time to come back and let us know how things are going for you. Do you know the gender of your baby, yet? Kate says she's sure it's a girl, what do you think? It would be nice to have a girl to complement Amy's boy. But another boy would be so exciting, too!

Take care of yourself!
Kate, Amy, Marti and Denise are working hard for a princess: . My gut feeling is that it's a boy, but I was wrong with Christopher. This is almost surely the last child for us so it would be nice to have one of each, but Christopher wants a brother so bad there is no way I could be disappointed if it's a boy.

We do plan to find out, but probably won't have another ultrasound until mid April. The wait is killing me!

In the midst of the "thin" around here lately we got some great news(at least for Cassidy)....Cassidy has been accepted into the International Baccalaureate program at the HS she will be attending next year. (I am WAAAY too young to have a high schooler :rotfl2: :worried: :rotfl2: !)

The IB is something Cass has worked hard for since 6th grade and if she makes it through all 4 years of the program she will be graduating with 2 diplomas in her hand!! I have some misgivings about the lack of freedom in the program but she is thrilled, so I am too!!!
My niece is in the 9th grade in an IB program. She loves it!

Christopher will be starting Kindergarten in the same school in the fall and they have the IB program from K-12. It took me a while to get good information on how the program works/is beneficial in the elementary grades, but once I did, we're really excited about him being in it next year.

Good luck to Cassidy!

You are wrong!!! :rotfl2:

I have had 3 people find out boy or girl in the last month and I have yet to be wrong!!! You might be the exception!! The other 3 were all boys!!

Okay - I know that this is not what you want to hear - and I am sure you will agree - but are you really only 14 weeks?!?!?!? It seems like you have been pregnant forever!!!! :lmao: Sorry - I know that falls into the things you should never say to a pregnant woman category but I really feel that way!!! Good news is that you should be into the easier second trimester now!! I hope so anyway!!

I have finally finished my second bag -

this one also has on the strap a cell phone pocket and pin strap - there are pockets on the side for a water bottle and there is a detachable organizer that fits inside it - that is the second picture -

the organizer has three pockets that would hold cameras, water bottles, etc. and a large pocket that you could keep confirmations, autograph pages, etc in -

then it would leave an area on the other side to act as a large pocket for larger items

the front has a pocket (under the mickey head) and two zippered pockets (the zippers are hidden so that someone might not see them right away when they see your bag - it has a drawstring top and the flap closes over all of it

inside there is also a wallet and detachable key ring

It's nice to see you sounding so chipper, today! I'm glad that things are looking up for you! Congrats! Hopefully, Spring will come soon, and we can all start feeling up again!

Sounds like you had a great weekend. It's always fun to have some alone grownup time.

Keep on smiling!

Well, with all of them working for a girl, I'll just say, I hope it's healthy. Secretly, though, I think they're right! They were right on with Amy.

I do know how you feel about another boy, though. Alan wants another boy to be a brother to Jacob, but I just don't see that happening. With all my pregnancies after Katie, I just knew there was someone else who was supposed to be in our family. Since the twins were born, I haven't felt that, so I have a sneaking suspicion that our family is done.

I LOVE IT!!!!!! I absolutely do! I can't wait until you decide to sell them. I'll be first in line to order one. Too cool! You totally rock, Kate! Is there anything that you don't do? (and don't tell me, to come look at your house, I bet anything that your house is immaculate.) When I grow up I want to be just like Kate!

We have an elementary school and Middle school in the district starting the programs...I am looking forward to seeing how it works.

In the end healthy is all that matters!

I'd like 3 kids but DH isn't going for it.
