I wish they fit Pal Mickey. That is one of the reasons that I am going to try to start sewing. I think I will buy the International Outfits for my BABW animals including Mickey & Minnie. Then try to duplicate them for Pal Mickey and his wife.
Yep Mickey and Minnie hardly have a thing to wear. I tried to explain to DH they can't wear the same outfit for a 3 week vacation. He said why not?:headache:

Yep, he's right here. I actually had a 1995 4 runner and loved it. The only reason we sold it was that it only sat 5 and I need room for 6 when I have all 5 kids. Otherwise I would still be driving it. In fact my brother bought an identical 4 runner when I did and his wife still drives theirs. They run forever. The biggest issue here is rust, but Florida doesn't have road salt so that wouldn't be an issue.

Ask away, Chris is reading along.

Thanks Deb & Chris.
My DSD is looking @ 1.
She lives in Oregon.
Needs a good solid car for my new DSGD.
Just needed to know if it was a good model.

Myself I'm very happy with my 2004 Corolla S.
Only car I have owned this long & still love it.
Only 4 C's but she kicks but.

Technically our cookie sale is over. However our troop has 130 boxes of cookies to sell. Reason being if we sold 100 boxes per girl we get $1 a box otherwise we get 60 cents. Well we could have returned the 130 boxes and gotten the 60 cents a box and gotten about $400 profit. By taking the other 130 boxes we got a larger profit without even selling off those last boxes. Any of them we sell we get additional profit and the ability to earn over $1000. We would have been silly to not do so.
If I lived nearby I would buy some.

Today was wonderful. All 6 children and 7 grandchildren took part in the ceremony for their Mom/Granny. And it was fun and joyful. I found out today that Mr. Alexander wrote that moving tribute of an obituary for his wife. We all met at the house after the Celebration of Life and interment in the memorial garden at the church. We sat around on the deck and talked for another 3 hours. Bob and I had to drag ourselves away because we feared the normal Friday afternoon/evening traffic snarl on I-95. Well, I think we could have stayed. It took us only 75 minutes to get the 78 miles from their house to downtown Fredericksburg. So we decided to go out to dinner (Old Town Steak and Seafood, Tammi) and we had a very relaxing dinner.

Now I have caught up and am falling asleep here at the computer. So I think I will say goodnight and hope for a full night's sleep. Have good evenings, friends!

Your so sweet Tammi :goodvibes

Sounds like you have a fun day planned for Saturday!

Tomorrow I am going to a craft festival at our expo center and then I'm taking Bob out to our local dinner theater for his birthday. I also took a picture of he and his daughter together at the circus. I bought a nice frame and put the picture in it and wrapped it. I like to actually give a gift, as well as going out. I have no plans for Sunday. Maybe I can get some stuff done around the house.

Hi everyone :wave2:

I have been reading along, but haven't had time to post. PD and prayers for everyone who is sick or has sick relatives or friends.

Elin, I am so sorry for your loss.

Vicki, you are quite the enabler, as I ended up ordering myself a Pal Mickey from an outlet mall in Miami. I will use it for myself when I go to Disney, and also probably loan him out to friends with kids when they go. I'll have to start looking into expanding his wardrobe once I get him.

This weekend I am going to work on making a dress for my DGD, I already bought the fabric and cut out the pieces. I am hoping I can finish the dress this weekend, I also bought Winnie the Pooh material to make another outfit. Let's hope I can make it turn out, I haven't done much sewing in a while.

I'm hoping for DS to get an internship he interviewed for at The Weather Channel in Atlanta. He has gotten turned down for 2 other internship positions he interviewed for, and I really want him to get a job in his field, I think it will be good for him and help him get a permanent job when he graduates next year. So PD :wizard: needed for DS!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

:wizard: for your son
good luck on your sewing

Elin,
Sounds like a satisfying day. It must have been very moving.

Ellen,
Good luck to your DS!!!

Look who was waiting for me when I got home tonight!

There was nothing in the box but Mr. Mouse with a clip. No instructions or anything. Does anyone have the time to scan their directions and send me the file or mail it to me? I would be much appreciative, although I did figure out how to turn him on and make him talk. :)
I'd like them too please. But I don't know if there is much more to him other than squeezing his hand/tummy. I do know that when he vibrates in the parks he wants to tell you something so you then need to squeeze him.

Tom sorry to hear Leighanna is still not feeling well

Have you had time to plan your Oct. trip?

Good Afternoon DDA!

I really wish the sickie bug would leave our house! Poor Leighanna is sick again! I think her allergies are really kicking up. Too bad that the medicine that she is supposed to take won't stay down!

Thanks Deb & Chris.

I'm driving a 1993 Camry with over 100000 miles. It runs like a dream and is rust free. Rust is the biggest challenge for Toyota's. The powertrains last forever. I'm sure she would be happy with a 4 Runner.

I just saw this recipe on the cooking thread

Pineapple Stuffing

3/4 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup butter (softened)
13.25 ounce can pineapple, crushed and drained
6-7 eggs
8 slices of white bread

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs to mixture and beat lightly. Add bread (cubed with no crust). Drain pineapple and stir in
Bake at 350 in 9 x 13 pan for 1 hour

They are serving it with ham for easter.
Wow. That's a lot of eggs.

My SIL just called. Summer now has that vomiting bug. I hope that it passes as quickly for her as it did for Logan. Even more I hope that we don't come down with it. We have all been around both of the kids

We just got back from Meet the Robinsons (in Disney Digital 3D)! It was really cute! They had a Chip & Dale cartoon in 3D prior to the movie which was fun... and the end (not really the ENDING, just the last few frames) gave me goosebumps! Go see it! :goodvibes

YUM!

I'm glad you had a nice afternoon with your friends, Elin, even though it was under very sad circumstances.

For those that want Pal Mickey instructions, send me a pm and I'll make copies over the week-end. If I don't have a pm, I'll forget to do it.

I'm hoping to go Easter weekend while we are visiting with my parents.

We went to the urologist this morning. There is nothing physically wrong with Alyssa, but he wants to have her get a spinal xray just to rule that out. When we first got there she had to give a sample, then we met with the dr. and they did an ultrasound of her bladder and kidneys. It turns out that he thinks the problem is that her bladder is not emptying completely, as it was still full during the ultrasound. Because she has always held her urine until the last possible minute (too into playing to go to the potty), she has strengthened her muscle so good that it is cutting off the urinary tube (don't know the technical name for it). Think Kegel exercises. So when she goes it doesn't all come out. He gave us some instructions for getting her relaxed enough when she goes that hopefully it will start emptying more. And of course when urine just sits in the bladder it is more prone to infection. The good news is that her latest sample came back good, so hopefully the infection has cleared up. Also, she was dry last night. At some point in the middle of the night she took her pull up off, she said it was tickling her. It, as well as her bed, was dry! So now I'm thinking maybe going back to no pull up at night because she knows if she has to go she can just go in it instead of getting out of bed. Thanks for all the prayers and pd with this!

:grouphug: and :wizard: to you all.

I hope Alyssa stays dry & all clears up soon,
