They are off for 11 days froms school so we are planning some day trips.
I just saw this recipe on the cooking thread
Pineapple Stuffing
3/4 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup butter (softened)
13.25 ounce can pineapple, crushed and drained
6-7 eggs
8 slices of white bread
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs to mixture and beat lightly. Add bread (cubed with no crust). Drain pineapple and stir in
Bake at 350 in 9 x 13 pan for 1 hour
They are serving it with ham for easter.
That's an even better reason not to put it off. If you get it early enough, there is so much more they can do if something is found! Please make an appointment soon with the family history you have. Do it for your family if not for any other reason!!!!
Hi everyone![]()
I have been reading along, but haven't had time to post. PD and prayers for everyone who is sick or has sick relatives or friends.
Elin, I am so sorry for your loss.
Vicki, you are quite the enabler, as I ended up ordering myself a Pal Mickey from an outlet mall in Miami. I will use it for myself when I go to Disney, and also probably loan him out to friends with kids when they go. I'll have to start looking into expanding his wardrobe once I get him.
This weekend I am going to work on making a dress for my DGD, I already bought the fabric and cut out the pieces. I am hoping I can finish the dress this weekend, I also bought Winnie the Pooh material to make another outfit. Let's hope I can make it turn out, I haven't done much sewing in a while.
I'm hoping for DS to get an internship he interviewed for at The Weather Channel in Atlanta. He has gotten turned down for 2 other internship positions he interviewed for, and I really want him to get a job in his field, I think it will be good for him and help him get a permanent job when he graduates next year. So PDneeded for DS!!
I hope everyone has a great weekend.
so do I

We've been through all the menus at 3 parks. I needed a break. I guess I'm not so much of a planner afterall![]()
Look who was waiting for me when I got home tonight!
![]()
There was nothing in the box but Mr. Mouse with a clip. No instructions or anything. Does anyone have the time to scan their directions and send me the file or mail it to me? I would be much appreciative, although I did figure out how to turn him on and make him talk.![]()
My plans this weekend are too see Meet the Robinsons with the kiddies. The kids have 2 birthday parties, baseball, & soccer too.
They are off for 11 days froms school so we are planning some day trips.
Hi, the kids are doing well. We're hanging in there with Zachary. I'm starting potty training with Effie. I'm hoping to have him trained by summer so I can enroll him for preschool next year. I ran into the teacher (Caleb had her when he was 3) and she was looking forward to having Ephram next year. The new meds for the migraines isn't working but I've been doing better at working around when they hit.
Thanks for asking. How is the pregnancy going? Are you guys going to find out the sex of the baby or be surprised?
Well I guess I will post 113,000
most of the morning I was watching the radar, spent a little bit of it in the hall closet with Olivia as a tornado was spotted south west of the town we live in, The rain finally stopped around 2pm. I think the weather men are calling for more rain tonight.
I got a Sony Vaio, it is 13.1 inches and a much lighter 5 pounds then the 10 pound, 15.4 inch clunker I have been dragging around.![]()
Plans for the weekend include:
finding a piece of exercise equipment
the Zoo with Abi tomorrow
Sunday...I am sure will be busy
Vicki- thank you so much for the Eeyore charm. i love it and i already put it on my charm bracelet.
my aunt and uncle came down from new york today for my dads party tomorrow. we visited for a few hours before they scooted their way out so dad wouldn't catch them here. tomorrow i take him to the movies and not sure which one. then on to his party. i cant wait. so i will talk to ya'll Sunday.
Good Afternoon DDA!
I really wish the sickie bug would leave our house! Poor Leighanna is sick again! I think her allergies are really kicking up. Too bad that the medicine that she is supposed to take won't stay down!
Leighanna had her physical yesterday for kindergarten, despite being sick. She did really well, except for her hearing test, which she failed. They checked her ears and noticed a little fluid. We will retest her again when she is feeling better, and hope for a better result!
Since she was not feeling well, they decided against giving her her immunizations. So now I need to get back in to have that done, along with her hearing test.
They also recommended her to see a nutritionist, because they think that she is too picky of an eater. She has certain aversions to food, but we know what she will and will not eat, and have worked around it. She has a high palette in her mouth, and certain texture foods tend to get stuck and make her gag and vomit. I just don't know what a nutritionist will do to get around that!

Hope all is well with all of you! I still have not had time to think about my ADRs and I really need to get on the ball! Help!
Have a good day everyone!
Tomorrow I am going to a craft festival at our expo center and then I'm taking Bob out to our local dinner theater for his birthday. I also took a picture of he and his daughter together at the circus. I bought a nice frame and put the picture in it and wrapped it. I like to actually give a gift, as well as going out. I have no plans for Sunday. Maybe I can get some stuff done around the house.[/QUOTE
Sounds like a fun weekend!
I'm about to head for TaeKwonDo, followed by a birthday party, followed by going home where NOTHING related to my internet access works! So I won't be back until tomorrow night when I am here working!
Jennifer - Hope the weather is clearing up! DS had a field trip today to the Arboretum (outdoor gardens) but I don't think he got rained on.
Tammi - I read an article that said having little girls sit backwards on the potty positions them to fully empty their bladders better than sitting frontwards. Maybe worth a try.I am glad she is improving!

I hope everybody is having a great day! If I don't make it back on this weekend please know I am thinking of you!![]()
Hope your computer issues get fixed fast!
We went to the urologist this morning. There is nothing physically wrong with Alyssa, but he wants to have her get a spinal xray just to rule that out. When we first got there she had to give a sample, then we met with the dr. and they did an ultrasound of her bladder and kidneys. It turns out that he thinks the problem is that her bladder is not emptying completely, as it was still full during the ultrasound. Because she has always held her urine until the last possible minute (too into playing to go to the potty), she has strengthened her muscle so good that it is cutting off the urinary tube (don't know the technical name for it). Think Kegel exercises. So when she goes it doesn't all come out. He gave us some instructions for getting her relaxed enough when she goes that hopefully it will start emptying more. And of course when urine just sits in the bladder it is more prone to infection. The good news is that her latest sample came back good, so hopefully the infection has cleared up. Also, she was dry last night. At some point in the middle of the night she took her pull up off, she said it was tickling her. It, as well as her bed, was dry! So now I'm thinking maybe going back to no pull up at night because she knows if she has to go she can just go in it instead of getting out of bed. Thanks for all the prayers and pd with this!
and
to you all.
Glad to hear you got some answers. Hopefully Alyssa will continue with the dry nights!![]()

I can see if I can find the directions I know we have ours somewhere.I'd like them too please. But I don't know if there is much more to him other than squeezing his hand/tummy. I do know that when he vibrates in the parks he wants to tell you something so you then need to squeeze him.
Today was wonderful. All 6 children and 7 grandchildren took part in the ceremony for their Mom/Granny. And it was fun and joyful. I found out today that Mr. Alexander wrote that moving tribute of an obituary for his wife. We all met at the house after the Celebration of Life and interment in the memorial garden at the church. We sat around on the deck and talked for another 3 hours. Bob and I had to drag ourselves away because we feared the normal Friday afternoon/evening traffic snarl on I-95. Well, I think we could have stayed. It took us only 75 minutes to get the 78 miles from their house to downtown Fredericksburg. So we decided to go out to dinner (Old Town Steak and Seafood, Tammi) and we had a very relaxing dinner.
Now I have caught up and am falling asleep here at the computer. So I think I will say goodnight and hope for a full night's sleep. Have good evenings, friends!
well I think I am headed to bed. I work this weekend so not sure when I will be on again.
I'm driving a 1993 Camry with over 100000 miles. It runs like a dream and is rust free. Rust is the biggest challenge for Toyota's. The powertrains last forever. I'm sure she would be happy with a 4 Runner.

Tomorrow the boys have bowling league in the morning. It is the last day and they will be bowling with local police departments. After bowling they have the year end awards banquet. They will serve pizza and hand out the plaques and trophies. Nick and Hunter are hoping to have remained in first place. They may take home the big award this year. Then I need a few items at Shaw's and Chris needs to go to the dump. I get to conclude my day by going to work. Sunday I may make dinner for the family as my mother's 60th birthday is on Tuesday. She doesn't want a big party so I'll probably just do dinner here. I also plan to watch a whole lot of Disney specials on the travel channel. It looks like a great day to have off![]()
It seems like a lot of people are on tonight. It's been a long time since so many have been on at once. It's nice to see. Now maybe Paula will drop in too.

I was pricing hotels at Wisconson Dells. I would love to go away with the boys for a few days while they are out of school. But to be honest I am scared to leave the house alone yet.
Hopefully we will get a few day trips in somewhere as well.
