Hi everyone :wave2:

I have been reading along, but haven't had time to post. PD and prayers for everyone who is sick or has sick relatives or friends.

Elin, I am so sorry for your loss.

Vicki, you are quite the enabler, as I ended up ordering myself a Pal Mickey from an outlet mall in Miami. I will use it for myself when I go to Disney, and also probably loan him out to friends with kids when they go. I'll have to start looking into expanding his wardrobe once I get him.

This weekend I am going to work on making a dress for my DGD, I already bought the fabric and cut out the pieces. I am hoping I can finish the dress this weekend, I also bought Winnie the Pooh material to make another outfit. Let's hope I can make it turn out, I haven't done much sewing in a while.

I'm hoping for DS to get an internship he interviewed for at The Weather Channel in Atlanta. He has gotten turned down for 2 other internship positions he interviewed for, and I really want him to get a job in his field, I think it will be good for him and help him get a permanent job when he graduates next year. So PD :wizard: needed for DS!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Look who was waiting for me when I got home tonight!

There was nothing in the box but Mr. Mouse with a clip. No instructions or anything. Does anyone have the time to scan their directions and send me the file or mail it to me? I would be much appreciative, although I did figure out how to turn him on and make him talk. :)

I won't have mine for awhile, but when I do get him I will copy his instructions for you if you still need them.

We went to the urologist this morning. There is nothing physically wrong with Alyssa, but he wants to have her get a spinal xray just to rule that out. When we first got there she had to give a sample, then we met with the dr. and they did an ultrasound of her bladder and kidneys. It turns out that he thinks the problem is that her bladder is not emptying completely, as it was still full during the ultrasound. Because she has always held her urine until the last possible minute (too into playing to go to the potty), she has strengthened her muscle so good that it is cutting off the urinary tube (don't know the technical name for it). Think Kegel exercises. So when she goes it doesn't all come out. He gave us some instructions for getting her relaxed enough when she goes that hopefully it will start emptying more. And of course when urine just sits in the bladder it is more prone to infection. The good news is that her latest sample came back good, so hopefully the infection has cleared up. Also, she was dry last night. At some point in the middle of the night she took her pull up off, she said it was tickling her. It, as well as her bed, was dry! So now I'm thinking maybe going back to no pull up at night because she knows if she has to go she can just go in it instead of getting out of bed. Thanks for all the prayers and pd with this!

:grouphug: and :wizard: to you all.

well, that sounds very promising, Tammi and Alyssa! I am glad there was nothing physically wrong. Kristin used to hold her urine for the very same reason and was prone to UTIs too. Hopefully Alyssa will understand the importance of going when the urge strikes!

Don't feel bad. I was already worried before you posted. I'm not sure why it worries me so much I had 4 kids for heaven's sake but for some reason I just keep dragging on it. Maybe it's the underlying worry about what they would find?:confused3

That's an even better reason not to put it off. If you get it early enough, there is so much more they can do if something is found! Please make an appointment soon with the family history you have. Do it for your family if not for any other reason!!!!

Well I am going to check the exchange thread real quick and then find something to do. :confused3

Have a good night all, pixiedust: and :grouphug: to all.

That's where I'm off to after I catch up here. I love seeing the Build a Bear pictures. So many cute outfits and animals.

I will. Thanks.

Bob never traveled either, except to visit family until our honeymoon! And then to the beach with my family a couple of years before we started taking our own vacations too.

Chuck didn't travel much before he married me. He had crossed the border by a few miles into two other states. He didn't see much of his home state either.

I loved looking at the international outfits on the BAB website Of course, I was thinking we need some of those outfits for Mickey for each country we were going to eat at.:rotfl: DH was like no.:sad2:

Elizabeth I would be so upset as well! Sorry to hear you are having so many problems with this.

Sort of a fly by post.

The DSL connection has caused more havoc than I thought possible. Our land line phone is 100% DEAD. No phone, no DSL, no dial-up, nothing. I can't even buzz the technician through the &*%# gate because it requires my land line phone!!:headache:

Wish I knew how to record on my DVD player

Just saw this over on the cruise forum - I had heard there was going to be a "day of Disney" on the TC, but hadn't heard that there was going to be some new footage.

I wish they fit Pal Mickey. That is one of the reasons that I am going to try to start sewing. I think I will buy the International Outfits for my BABW animals including Mickey & Minnie. Then try to duplicate them for Pal Mickey and his wife.

hi Deb

what are your choices so far.

We really aren't making choices. We are making a list of all the restaurants and counter service places that offer things that we will all eat. We are listing what items we like and the prices to make it easier to budget later. Not surprising to us is that we prefer counter service.

:wizard: :wizard: for your son.

I'm sure that your outfits will be perfect

Tammi so glad to hear that all is well with Alyssa! :wizard: for the spinal x-ray.

I got the Girl Scout Area Cookie Order together - 1201 boxes of cookies to be delivered to my area and for me to sort the week of April 16. Should be fun! I hope the weather is nice. There are only 14 troops. We also have cookie cupboards where the troops can get more cookies if they get extra sales so we will sell alot more between now & then.

Technically our cookie sale is over. However our troop has 130 boxes of cookies to sell. Reason being if we sold 100 boxes per girl we get $1 a box otherwise we get 60 cents. Well we could have returned the 130 boxes and gotten the 60 cents a box and gotten about $400 profit. By taking the other 130 boxes we got a larger profit without even selling off those last boxes. Any of them we sell we get additional profit and the ability to earn over $1000. We would have been silly to not do so.

I ran away to go to dinner. So I hopefully am not eating dinner after 11pm again. Then I ended up at the beach again. I don't think I could live this close to the beach as I can't stay away. I just wish it wasn't so windy because it is making the 50 -60 degree temps feel way colder.

I won't have mine for awhile, but when I do get him I will copy his instructions for you if you still need them.

thank you so much, Ellen. And good luck to your DS for the internship at TWC!
