I just got home. Thanks, Lynn, for emailing me the update on June. I immediately burst into tears and I'm crying again. I am just so heartbroken that something so scary has made June sick. I have been praying non-stop. Prayer is a powerful tool in the fight against cancer, and I will definitely be a prayer warrior for June. I loved meeting her in December with Melanie at WDW. She is a delightful and wonderful woman. I am sending her all the love, support, prayers, hugs, and PD that I possibly can.

Will someone PM me her address please?

Meet your teacher was wonderful. My kids are precious, and I am really excited about this year. I had 2 more added today, so I'm one away from 2 full classes. The room is awesome, and all the other teachers said I'll probably win best room. I'm going tomorrow to take pictures now that it is all up. I'll post them then. Feels weird talking about something so trivial when June is so sick...

My favorite movie is Steel Magnolias. I think the part about there is nothing better than laughing through tears would be appropo for us all at the moment. Now we just need something to make us laugh!

Prayers needed for June...​

I just got off the phone with Melanie, June's daughter. One of the tests came back with a result that is not good. It appears that June has lung cancer. They are waiting for a return call/visit from the oncologist. Meanwhile, cards and prayers and thoughts and pixie dust will help, I know. I really don't know anything more than that. When I do I will certainly let y'all know. Please PM this to anyone that you think might not see it on here.
