Check in at Poly Towers and Water Parks Question

Hi. In August I will be checking in at the Poly Towers for one night and then transferring to the Boardwalk studios for the rest of my trip. I actually have two questions. Since I will be driving, if I pull up to the towers does Bell Services come out for your luggage, if not, I assume I can check in at the Ceremonial Hall and they can transfer the luggage to the towers.

Also, since I am actually doing two checkin's is the water parks available for both days or just the first day?

You should have the water parks both check in days, it looks like this in your plans in MDE (website version)

The entrance to the Island Tower is a remote gate. Will you have an active MB with you?

You are able to go to the main GCH entrance, and Bell Services will move your luggage to the Island Tower for you. BS at the Island Tower will be able to hold your luggage if your Villa is not ready, and also assist you when you check-out. You will be able to use your MB or Room Key to enter - leave the Island Tower parking area.

Note: depending on the Guard at the main Poly gate, they may open the Island Tower gate for you when you press the remote call button from the Island Tower gate.

Yes you will have (2) Free Water Park days. One for each check-in day.

You don’t actually need to have a magic band to get past the gate at the Tower if you’re driving. There’s a call button on the box where you can speak to security. If you drive to the GCH entrance and tell them you’re checking into the Tower they will just send you over there anyway and wave you through, that’s what happened to me the other week when I was checking in. But you can still use the call button at the tower gate if you don’t go to GCH first if you need to be dropped off at the tower as a guest there, I took a few regular Lyfts (so not Minnie Vans) and had no problems with it.

Bell Services at the tower is just outside the main entrance to it, where you pull up to the doors, and if you drop luggage there it will actually be stored at the tower. They have separate ones for tower and the main Poly. But from experience when I was going home the other week, sometimes there is a bit of confusion trying to pick up bags from one that you dropped off at the other. There’s a lot of new CMs that just started at Poly. I dropped my bags off at the tower Bell Services that morning before hitting the parks and ended my day at MK, so I came back thru the GCH and was getting a rideshare to the airport from there. Went to GCH bell services and there was a little back and forth as they figured it out and had to get a senior CM to help out. It wasn’t a huge deal but something to bear in mind.
