Well, both Leslie and Mary were thumb/finger suckers until about a month ago and they are 4 now. Their pediatric dentist was not too concerned about it. He was more concerned with how they might be made fun of at school if they kept sucking. He told me that it was just fine for them as it helped comfort them. I would use your best judgement on this one. As you say, she's going through a tough adjustment at this time, with a lot of different new experiences coming up for her. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

When the time comes, you'll know. You're a good mom. Trust in that!

I didn't use media for the trip to Glynis because I sent something else with it that I wanted to make sure got there in time!!

I did! I had no long pants left that fit, so I went out and got a pair of black, brown and gray ones so I figure those three pair ought to get me through the next few months. Also got a new top that will go with many different things so that ought to extend the wearing season on some of my capris.

I just got off the phone with Melanie, June's daughter. One of the tests came back with a result that is not good. It appears that June has lung cancer. They are waiting for a return call/visit from the oncologist. Meanwhile, cards and prayers and thoughts and pixie dust will help, I know. I really don't know anything more than that. When I do I will certainly let y'all know. Please PM this to anyone that you think might not see it on here.

I just wanted to remind everyone that Kate is having her knee surgery tomorrow. So, please keep her in your prayers as well. Thanks, everyone! This is such a great group!

Dawn literally called two minutes after we got home. I just got off the phone with her, and I can reassure you that Caroline is going to be fine, but she's still in the hospital until an official diagnosis can be made.

All signs are pointing to a severe case of reflux. Most likely she will be put on medicine, but there's still a chance for a PH probe. The poor baby has undergone a spinal tap, EEG, cat scan, and several other tests, but thankfully all of them show everything is normal (no brain damage from lack of oxygen, etc.)

They are still waiting for some other 48 hour test results to come back, but they think Caroline will be discharged tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Dawn's blood pressure has never gone down, and obviously it was through the roof yesterday, so she was prescribed her own medicine yesterday. She will be haunted by Caroline's limp, blue body for a long time.

I am so thankful that she is going to be ok. That had to be so scary, I can't even imagine it. Amy, thanks for the update. PD and prayers continue for Dawn and Caroline.
