im really not sure my cousin is thinking of going on my trip and i have made my other cousin and i matching shirts and i used her eeyore and daisy as name tags on our shirts so i wanted to see what other characters she had. i saved a few but they dont fit my cousin lol. an update on my grandma: yesterday not a good day.her breathing was labored. my uncle is afraid she might get pneumonia(i am too). she is in her own room now.

Now that's a great idea! Once she beats this thing, we plan a DDA meet at WDW to celebrate!

my surgery is at 1:00 tomorrow - it should last about an hour and I will then be in the hospital until about dinnertime

One quick yippee from today. I tried on a pair of my really skinny shorts. They are size 12s from Old Navy but from the girl's section. I think they are closer to 10s. Well, they zipped right up! 10 more pounds and they'd be perfect. I also wore a shirt to parents night yesterday that was super tight and now was very loose. Dieting sucks! But I'm loving the results! I hope I can wear the skinny shorts to WDW in 3 weeks. I can't believe we go 3 weeks from Saturday!

Hi everyone. We just got back from back to school night. Nicholas' teacher seems really nice, and he has the same para that he had last year. He also has about 6 kids in his class that he knows either from school last year, the neighborhood or daycare. He's been so excited for school to start and now I am too!

Well, both Leslie and Mary were thumb/finger suckers until about a month ago and they are 4 now. Their pediatric dentist was not too concerned about it. He was more concerned with how they might be made fun of at school if they kept sucking. He told me that it was just fine for them as it helped comfort them. I would use your best judgement on this one. As you say, she's going through a tough adjustment at this time, with a lot of different new experiences coming up for her. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

When the time comes, you'll know. You're a good mom. Trust in that!

Matthew was a thumbsucker for a long, long time. He is in braces now, but the orthodontist told me that he would have needed them either way and that it isn't necessarily the result of the thumbsucking. He knew by the time he started preschool that he didn't want to do it outside of the house. I definitely agree with Glynis' parting line!

Prayers needed for June...​

I just got off the phone with Melanie, June's daughter. One of the tests came back with a result that is not good. It appears that June has lung cancer. They are waiting for a return call/visit from the oncologist. Meanwhile, cards and prayers and thoughts and pixie dust will help, I know. I really don't know anything more than that. When I do I will certainly let y'all know. Please PM this to anyone that you think might not see it on here.

Oh, no! I will definitely send prayers and thoughts and pixie dust June's way. I think I missed the address for June. Would someone PM it to me.

I have Mickey, Daisy, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, Pooh, Tigger, Buzz, Eeyore, Pluto and two different ones that say Disney and have 6 characters on them (Fab 5 plus pluto) Let me know if you want me to post any of them.

Definitely watch the site, and if it develops a round rash with a bullseye appearance then you definitely want to go to the doctor to be tested for Lyme disease. If it wasn't on there very long then she will probably be ok. At least that is what I heard from my sister because my niece got lyme disease from a tick, but they caught it right away by recognizing the telltale rash, and she was treated for it early and all is fine.


ETA: It takes 1 - 2 weeks for the rash to appear according to a website I just looked up.

Im looking for disney clip art of the characters with a cap/gown for graduation..i found one of mickey, but not sure i like that one! i searched last night and that was all i can find..im specifically looking for minnie and donald in cap/gown, but id love any characters..any ideas?
