Just a quick post to let you all know that I put the DisneySea pictures up on FB (along with some more from Kyoto) if anyone is interested.
All about me post guys....why should today be any different?
Real quick-
I've decided to take a week (or so) off running due to bi-lateral heel pain. Once the Achilles crap cleared up (thanks to accu-guy), I realized my heels were pretty dang sore as well! Hoping it's not that Plantar Fasc...Plantar Fasi....Plantar Peanut crap!.
So my last run was 8 on Friday (which should have been 14) & I probably won't run again until this Sat. (scheduled 8)...NYC, here I come, all fit & ready to go!
I'll go to the dreaded gym this week for some CT. LOVE those people at the gym!

Colleen - Where are you, me and Jodi going to trick or treat on Halloween? Come to think of it...what you are doing for your kids that night?
Lou
The run was okay. 20 in 2:57. I'm hoping for a sub 4-hr marathon at NYC and 2:57 for 20 is cutting it too close. I was fading the last mile. I went from an 8:45 pace to about 9:30 real quick. Would have been lucky to run 10-minute miles the rest of the way if it were a marathon.
Lou: Do you run all your LR at race pace? Not that I know everything, far from it, but my LR are usually 45 to 90 sec per mile slower than my marathon pace. I do run some faster long runs, but not for such a long distance. I would think that you beat yourself up by trying to hold that pace for such a long way.
Colleen - Recovered from that 12 yet?![]()
Chester - So...what's YOUR key to staying injury free???You're like a running FREAK & haven't gotten injured once.
