****The April 2015 thread**** come check in and chat!

37 more days for us!!! My 7 year old niece has been counting down for weeks....adults in our group are finally joining the fun party:

Following this post to know when April hours will be posted. We're traveling Arpil 21st - 26th, so 52 days. I've made reservations etc. But how can you know for sure with Character Breakfasts and WoC packages, etc. without knowing show times or park hours yet?

Ifer924 - when i phoned to book Frozen Boutique for my kids makeovers, i asked them what day Disneyland opened on the day i was booking the makeover for and the CM looked it up and told me Disneyland opened at 9am that particular day, i was wanting to make sure we had a hour or so in the park to grab FastPasses before getting the makeover done that was for Thursday 23rd April maybe you could try calling and see if they can tell you?

We are spending 3 days . April 2-5th. My dd will be spending her 8th birthday there.
So exciting. I haven t been to DL in almost 30 years. Many times to Wdw. It's my daughters first trip to California .

My daughter and I will be there April 19-25 at the Best Western on Katella. I am celebrating my 60th birthday year along with Disneyland. I decided that I would get an Annual Pass this year to make sure I get the most of my celebrating.:yay:

29 days! Thanks for the info on the Eggstravaganza - not sure yet if we'll want to do it since we'll be hitting Frozen Fun pretty hard and we have a ressie for Carthay Circle WoC dinner.

If I counted correctly, we are 44 days out! I cannot wait!!

I'm another in the excited mom club. My daughter and I are super Disney fans, but my husband couldn't care less. He'll go once in a while to enjoy it with my daughter, but that's about it. So, she and I are taking a couple of trips by ourselves. :)
Sounds familiar. My hubby has always loved Disneyland, but let me know after our trip last year at Spring Break! that he could probably take a Disneyland break for a while. We also had to push around our 16 y/o daughter in a wheelchair, so that was quite stressful.
I guess I and the kids have shorter memories, because I'm taking my son in April (was supposed to be Spring Break again, but my back disagreed) because our daughter is off to Cuba on a band trip, and then she wants a grad trip to California in November which will center around the Avengers half marathon and of course DISNEYLAND!
Disneyholics, for sure. I think my husband plans to go fishing...:fish:

28 days! And my husband thinks we SHOULD do the Eggstravaganza - I have a feeling my 9 year old girl will love it. So I think the plan is that as soon as the park opens (we are not staying on site so that'll be 8:00am) my husband will take my daughter into Frozen Fun and I will stop at one of the shops to buy the map. Which of the following shops is closer to Frozen Fun: Disney Jr. Kiosk, Elias & Co., or Oswald’s?

Just booked our hotel (Tropicana). 37 days for us!! Three and a half days at DL and then we are toying with the idea of doing one day at Knott's. We've never done that before but thinking this might be the perfect trip to give it a try.

:hourglassI don't know about everyone else but I've got spring fever somethin' awful! We have had lots of snow the past couple of weeks and Im ready for warmer weather! Come on April!

How far of a walk is it to the paradise hotel? we are doing the character breakfast at PCH, but staying at HOJO. want to make sure we get there in time.

Oops, one more ?. We are going Saturday 4/18 and fly out Sunday 4/26. doing 5 days disney, 1 day universal and 1 day knotts (a day off in the middle). I am having a hard time planning my days and need some input.

Looks like park hours will vary which is my hang up.

I had planned universal Sunday 4/19 and disney 4/20. But, now it looks like disney will be open til midnight on sunday (only 9pm during the week). I had planned to not be there that day as there would be large crowds from star wars convention. Is it worth the bigger crowds to flip flop those days?
