You're starting to be as big of a suck up as Glenn......but at least he does it to the women!!! :sad2:
:rotfl: :rotfl:

:cool2:
You made a DAN!!! :lmao:
that was actually pretty good, when some people say they lol...i dont think they really do.

well i actually did lol:laughing:

the lady in the other room looked at me like i was nuts.
:rolleyes1

I assume since you highlighted "dictatorship" it was that one. And YOU called yourself that! Just re-interating your Highness.
You might want to go back and carefully check the spelling of the part I put in bold Ms. Post Host!!! I never called myself what you wrote...... :confused3

 Tim! You perv!

I know, right?

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hey, I wasn't the one flashing!!!!! :lmao::lmao:

I swear, it was only the one time Tim! And maybe once on Snow White's Scary Adventure...:rolleyes1

he said hyda, not the "groan" and it is spelled groin...and they make fun of me for my spelling.

:lmao:

JK;)

:lmao:Liesa was right, you guys are merciless! Just for the record, the gallbladder is found above the groan...:rolleyes1

No, size 5, which is so stinkin' hard to find anymore.

You're so lucky Liesa, my feet are a size 9 1/2! Which makes it hard to feel dainty!

I actually have a couple of things in mind, I just have to decide if it will be one or the other or both....:confused3

Oooooh, the stakes just raised Marv! Now I'm really going to try to win! You know what would make a good prize? Homemade 7 layer bars...:rolleyes1

I don't know. :confused3 I would turn out the lights and find out!! :lmao:

:lmao::lmao::lmao: OMGosh! Where did you FIND that!!!????

You know what they told me? they could give me a card that says I've "had a procedure" so I could get into the Capitol Bldg. or the dump(??) Who knew they'd have censors at the dump?? Good to know, they're watching EVERYTHING!!! :lmao:

Gotta give credit where credit's due. :thumbsup2

OK, ok I 'll go back and look again. I swear you called yourself something along those lines when you were first laying out the rules of your game. I"m going back to look, Mister Bister.

Poor Marv.

Y'all need to stop pickin on him. :3dglasses
Atta Girl Camille, tell 'em!!! :flower3:

Well THAT explains a LOT!!!
Oooooh, the stakes just raised Marv! Now I'm really going to try to win! You know what would make a good prize? Homemade 7 layer bars...:rolleyes1
Okay, I guess I'll go with the other idea NOW!!! :sad2:

Ok, so I guess a stupid little "t" is super important. Whatever. ;)

You're so lucky Liesa, my feet are a size 9 1/2! Which makes it hard to feel dainty!

I imagine those would be pretty hard to find too. We may be at opposite ends of the foot size spectrum, but I think we're still 2 peas in a pod.

As for 7 layer bars... I just made some the other night!! You're right, those woudl be an EXCELLENT prize. But to make it a prize package, we'd need gingersnaps to go along with them!

No, size 5, which is so stinkin' hard to find anymore. I went with the original style, and have no idea what they are called. I got them at NOrdstroms BEFORE I knew you could buy them cheaper just about EVERYWHERE else. :headache: But they do have some cute Minnie Jibbitz that I picked up on my VERY FIRST Meet with Mary at the now defunct Opry Mills Mall. Oh how I wish they'd turn up!

Did you get an actual size five or an XS that's a size 4/5? I found some that are the XS 4/5. In the hot pink you like. Other wise your right, they are hard to find. What jibbitz did you have?

:lmao::lmao::lmao: OMGosh! Where did you FIND that!!!????

You know what they told me? they could give me a card that says I've "had a procedure" so I could get into the Capitol Bldg. or the dump(??) Who knew they'd have censors at the dump?? Good to know, they're watching EVERYTHING!!! :lmao:

:rotfl: Well sir, all I wanted to do is dump off this here trash and now you've got the SWAT team here, the A-team and the Marine Corps.!! All I have with me is a glowing intestinal tract and gall bladder, I swear!! :rotfl2:

Mark found that pic of the blow torch which is now your intestines.

OH! I booked my flight!!! :dance3:  :dance3: It's official!!

I'm going to Liesa's!! I'm going to Liesa's!! :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

No way Dearie, this is a stinkin' dictatorship!!! :lmao: Everything passes through me, all verdicts are final, contempt of court is immediate and results in possible forfeiture of points! (and you think German lawyers/judges are hard to get along with....well one of them, anyway!) ;)
It's the giddy anticipation of a soon to be released Marv TR update!!!

Just for the record. ;) (Post #407- your own TR)

I only have the Minnie's. I can't see myself wearing a whole bunch of them so as to clutter them up.

It's amazing what you can find when you do an Image Search and type in "Nuclear Poop". :lmao:

I'm always afraid to do searches for fear of what I might find. I'll leave it to you and the other guys.

That'd be a funny sight for sure! :lmao:

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!

It's gonna be a good one!! I will put up an official announcement of our MEET here and an open invitation to all for our dinner this afternoon!

Not what I heard...... :rolleyes1

Well THAT explains a LOT!!!

Okay, I guess I'll go with the other idea NOW!!! :sad2:

Oh shush Marv!

Are you saying that a girl can't be dainty with size 9 1/2 feet??

Hey!!! I thought my idea for 7 layers bars was actually quite good! Someone around the boards claims to be an expert but I hear the edges get a tad burned...:rolleyes1

I imagine those would be pretty hard to find too. We may be at opposite ends of the foot size spectrum, but I think we're still 2 peas in a pod.

Actually quite the opposite! My size is very easy to find! Which makes me think my feet are either so big that nobody else is buying that size or that there are more people with my size feet. I'm going to go with the latter I think!

Aren't those bars addicting? They are delicious! Oh Liesa, we are so on the same page sister, I LOVE gingersnaps!:thumbsup2

Bummer that you have to wait yet again for results! So I'm assuming the hyda scan included radioactive dye then? You poor thing Liesa, I hope you're hanging in there ok!

:teeth:

Thanks for asking! It went fine. But naturally, no news. I go back to see the doctor on Monday and I'll know then.

I can say that whatever g.b. stimulant they gave me, made me feel AWFUL for about 5 minutes. WhOa, that stuff was powerful juju.

Ugh. How annoying that you have to wait until Monday!

That is HILARIOUS! I laughed so loud I got worried I woke the little one for a second!

I'm going to Liesa's!! I'm going to Liesa's!! :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

I'm a bit jealous! Have a wonderful time with that wonderful woman!

Being I’m unable to connect to any network while I sit waiting for my (yet another) test, I figured I had some extra time to type up a bonus update for you. Yeah, I know Christmas was 2 months ago, but hey, Disney updates take priority, don’t they??

Christmas came and went with a flurry of fun stuff that included sweet treats, too many (at times) out of town visitors, and the making of traditions new and old. It was packed full of great times and throughout so many of them, I thought of all of you, who were having memory making festivities of your own. Let me share a few of our Christmas, 2010 highlights with you!

What better way to get us in the mood than a formal ball? I think I’ve already shared a few of these photos with you, but let’s get gussied up once again!

Soon after that, we got together with some dear friends to make our own versions of “jack” gingerbread houses. The girls really got pretty elaborate this year and discovered the joys of carved architecture. I went cheap and got a large variety of goodies from the Winco bulk bins. Unfortunately, I had to do that twice because of those sacks got put into the other baking bags that I took down to Salem, where I was going to make cookies. Double the fun, double the cost. The good and tasty side of that mistake is that we now have a pantry full of sweets to keep up us busy now.

Before my guests arrived, it was time to get busy cleaning and decorating. This house hadn’t been cleaned really well since my MIL passed away a year ago, and man it took me forever to get it passable for my mother! WHY, oh why, do we women feel compelled to make the floors sparkle and the cupboards cleaned when mom comes around?? Maybe I’m the only one, but I sure put some extra elbow grease in when she visits. But there was some fun mixed in as well. With the aromatic spices and recipe Magdalene got for me, I cooked up some of these:

I also added some traditional favorite of my DH’s family, which are happened to be German: Springerle (and anise flavored cookie, that I’ve learned are usually made without the anise where Magdalene is from), and rolled sugar cookies, which I’m sure they eat in Germany too. ;)

No Christmas season in Oregon is complete without a visit to the tree farm where you will hurry the task because you are usually freezing to death from icy wind and rain. This year was no different, and although the adults would be done picking that perfect tree in 5 minutes, the kids who are “not cold” take the requisite hour to find just the right one. We tromped around in the mud amongst the Nobles, and just in time for some holiday season family portraits, the borrowed camera died. Of course. I ended up with 3, and then a whole bunch more (which I’ll spare you save a couple) of the decorating, hot buttered rum, roaring fire in the fireplace decorating-fest. A U-Cut 6 foot Noble: $15! A few things about Oregon are GREAT!!

Cont. in Next Post...

Soon, all the cousins and grandparents arrived and things got fairly chaotic. In all, we had 22 people in our house for 3 days. Some slept the nights at our neighbor’s house, but all the rest were with us. I imagine a few might have been a bit on the chilly side at night for lack of blankets. My FIL thought some of us needed an evening’s diversion so he treated us to “The Mission Mill”. You can find some really great info

HERE

It is a fabulous living museum which was built in 1892 to process, dye, and weave woolen cloth products that were grown in Eastern Oregon. It was originally begun by one of the daughters who married into the Pendleton Mills Family. Every Christmas they put up a zillion lights and actually run the antique woolen mills and give amazing demonstrations of textile arts like weaving, quilting, spinning, etc… Unfortunately, my FIL didn’t realize that it closed at 8:00 and we had only gotten there at 7:00, so only had an hour to take in what we could. We will DEFINITELY go back next year and spend the entire day- there is that much to see and do, including sing-alongs with fiddle and period music, crafts for the kids, demonstrations of the dying process and of course, the running of the antique mill itself.

The kids, both young and old alike, occasionally like to test our skills with a firearm or two, and it’s fun to set up targets and have a contest on aim. I can say that the girls were just as accurate as the boys.

Finally, after 12 months of waiting, it was time for Christmas morning. Everyone gathered for the Luke reading and gifts. Here are a few of the highlights from our first Christmas morning with our families for 12 years- all under one roof- minus my grandparents who would certainly have come had they been still living, as well as the Matriarch of my husband’s family, my MIL. Amongst the joy of the day, more than a few tears were shed behind closed doors as well.

And so another holiday came and went. There are many happy moments we still talk about together over evening meals, as we look forward to next year’s Yuletide!

A merry Christmas! Thanks for sharing!

My oldest sister dated a guy who hunted, until he took her target shooting and she outshot him.

I really enjoyed your Christmas update. Fabulous pictures of all the events.

Wowsa on the tree. I can tell you I would never find a tree that beautiful for $15. Not in a million years.

I am so impressed by all the lovely gingerbread houses. Not the GF gingerbread house, but beautiful just them same. That looks like it was a lot of fun.

Thanks again for the great update!
