finally getting my voice back after screaming and yelling last night at Fenway!!!

That was such an awesome game!!!!

I too if Boston cant get past Tampa hopes the Devil Rays go into the Series and beats the NL team especially if its the Dodgers

MANNY is going to get the BOOING of a life time when the DODGERS come to fenway!!!
Wonder what kind of Reception Derek Lowe or Nomar will get?? Bet it will be the total opposite

I bet they give Nomar and D.Lowe standing O's... just to rub it in mannys face even more.. they both deserve it and didnt leave on bad terms... remember when D. Lowe came back in 05 for the ring ceremony... the place went crazy for him.

Yeah, I guess I'll cheer for the Phillies seeing as you guys had to knock out my team. Even though I didn't expect them to win the series I'm still disappointed the Brewers are out. But atleast we were at the game Saturday and got to see a win...it was pretty cool seeing Milwaukee fans excited for a change.

Actually though, as long as the Red Sox don't win I will be happy.

Hamels was a little shaky to start, but boy, it seems like every game now he gets better and better as the game goes on.

Great to see Chase get a home run, and Pat Burrell delivers AGAIN!

Can't wait until tomorrow's game. Brett Myers turn to step it up again.

I thought the game was great last night. Sure my team didn't win, but the Phillies got hot and so did the fans! . Congrats on the game, now on to game #2. .

Well I was glad to see someone beat the Dodgers since my Cubbies werent able to do it.

Anyone else sick of the announcers talking about Manny Ramirez? Like the guy walks on water or something. You could start a drinking game by how many times they say his name during the games. You'd be drunk by the second inning.

After the Cubs lost, I swore if I ever heard that name again I would just scream. Then last Sunday my Bears played the Lions. Would you believe the Lions have a player named Manny Ramirez??!! It was like some cruel cosmic joke

Well, the announcers weren't exactly extolling his virtues last night. They brought up all the negative stuff from Boston. (and I know there was a lot). Seems like the announcers were biased towards the Phils. I turned the sound off (could never stand McCarver) and the game got much more enjoyable.

I can't find the quote anywhere, which makes me think it was a blog thing, but when asked about if he thought the Philly fans would Boo him(Manny) he said why when the already have Pat Burrell.
If anyone finds the quote, let me know, but everyone in the stadium was a little peeved about it. Philly phans are not too nice when cranky.

I do have a subscription to MLB Gameday audio. I guess I can listen to that instead. Who knows? Maybe Vin Scully will call the Dodger home games. It makes me SICK that Tim McCarver claims the famous call of Sid Bream sliding into home plate in the '92 NLCS. We had the radio on that night and that call will always belong to Skip Caray.
