As a die-hard Red Sox fan who spent many years waiting for our 'moment' (and finally experienced it!!!), I wish the Cubs and their fans all the best this year! I understand your long-suffering and feel your hope and excitement!

I am nervous about the Sox vs. Angels series. But I am ready, it will be a great week!

I like it better when we are on the same side.

Yeah, so now it's time for the Brewers to win.

I'd like to see them do well but honestly I don't even care because we're finally in the playoffs.

I just attended the dowtown rally for the Cubs and it was AWESOME.

Jim Belushi was the mc.
Former Cubs greats Ron Santo, Ernie Banks and Billie Williams were there.
Current Cubs Sean Marshall, Micah Hoffpier and DERRICK LEE were there.

As Ron Santo says "This IS the year!"

So there were only 3 players there? I was at the Brewers rally last night and the whole team was there...though I guess that's because they were headed to the airport right after.

I was so glad to see the Brewers take the NL Wildcard spot instead of the Mets.
We need some new faces in the playoffs this year. For the World Series, I'm going to go out on a limb and predict Manny Ramirez gettin' smoked by his former team in 5 games.

Me too!!! I'm worried about Josh Beckett If we can do it again this year it's gonna be tough with our growing list of injured players...I hope our young guys can keep steppin up like they have all season and we can pull it off. These late games are gonna be tough staying up to watch, I'm thinking there are going to be a lot of ired people in Red Sox Nation...We need to do as the Celtics did...BEAT LA!!!

Just call it a hunch. The Brewers seem to have a bit of a twinkle about them right now. I think their pitching rises, Prince Fielder gets hot, and they win their way to the WS. The media are talking up the Rays and Cubs as sweetheart teams, but I think the Brewers steal the spotlight. Note: I am NOT a Brewers fan.

I have nothing against the Phillies. I thought they were a cool team back when I was a kid, and they had MIke Scmidt and Greg Luzinski.

As a red sox fan....i think we are really up against it in this matchup with the angels...They're pitching is excellent. If we can get a game in Anaheim, we got a real chance!!

There still my team, but it hurts even worse than last year because this year we were really expected to go far.

Well I'm a big Yankees fan and my team didn't even make the playoffs, but I have two teams that I'm cheering for.

First of all, I gotta root for Joe Torre's team!! I'm so excited his team is so close to winning it all! I'm also cheering for the Phillies since that's my dad's team!

The bad thing is that now they're going to play each other. But the good thing is that one of those teams will make it to the World Series!!!

So how many other Yankees fans are laughing at Steinbrenner? The Yankees have made the playoffs pretty much every year for the last 13 years under Joe Torre, and this is the first year that they haven't made it. And the Dodgers haven't made it the past couple years and all of a sudden made it this year having Joe Torre. Coincidence? I think not!!

Id love to see Manny back at Fenway so they could boo him out of the park... I guess he made some comments last week how horrible Boston was and it was the worst 8 years of his life and the fans are horrible.. wait manny.. it will only get worse.

Just got my tickets for the ANGELS vs RED SOX!!!

Although I won't be going to the game on Wednesday night and I was soooo hoping to see our boys play, I would much prefer they win in FENWAY!!!!

finally getting my voice back after screaming and yelling last night at Fenway!!!

That was such an awesome game!!!!

I too if Boston cant get past Tampa hopes the Devil Rays go into the Series and beats the NL team especially if its the Dodgers

MANNY is going to get the BOOING of a life time when the DODGERS come to fenway!!!
Wonder what kind of Reception Derek Lowe or Nomar will get?? Bet it will be the total opposite
