Test Track

Hi everyone,

I am going to Disney World in January 2006, & I am hearing rumors that Test Track will be closed for this month. Disney Worlds official site does not have it listed as being closed, does anyone have any info on this??

We were there 2 weeks ago and they seemed to have to close down the ride quite frequently. Does anyone have any info, just out of curiousity?

A high speed ride like that, with an outdoor segment, is very dangerous in bad weather. That's the cause of many short-term shut-downs for Test Track.

Test Track breaks down quite a bit, I don't really know why but it just does. Maybe it has to do with the onboard computer or something.

They do close Test Track for inclement weather.

But, it breaks down all by its little ol' self ALL THE TIME. If it happens to break down while you're on it, consider it part of the WDW experience. If it breaks down while you're in line, you'll get a fastpass so that you can ride it without a wait later on.
