Last night was awful. SD up ALL night panicking again. He woke me and I never got back to sleep. I feel miserable. Bad because I didn't sleep and worse because I can't help SD. Things have to change. I made an appt. with a psychologist yesterday for him. He goes on Monday.

I am really hoping things get better. I can't imagine what he'll do when he has to get up at 6 am for school, in 3 weeks!

MEL:banana:
 I'm glad you have three weeks to sort it out.

This drives me crazy. LAst week was the last week for camps here and school doesn't start until the TUesday after labor day. Um, hello most camps are used becasue parents work...what are they supposed to do now. I'm lucky that Jim is home all summer, so I don't have to worry about it but I see all mt firends scrambling...it's ridiculous:headache:
ITA - and Leo's school didn't even list this on the calendar - I found out only just before summer break started!

Last night was awful.
I'm sorry Mel!

Just spoke to my dad on the phone. He sounds great and is talking about all the things he wants to do when we are there next week. I think we make get him a wheel chair...just in case...but I think at 78 (79 come November) he is allowed, no? He also said he can't wait to meet all of my Focker friends...even the flat ones:rotfl2:
Yay for Janet's Dad! :yay:

The camp here does the same thing except this year they stopped even earlier. They were done after the first week in Aug. and school doesn't start until Sept. 2. We also have a youth college that is only 3 hours long. How do people who work get the kids to and from this?:confused3

That is my gripe. Jim is a teacher so is off in the summer which is good for me. I am going to be in trouble next year when Jimmy is out of school the 1st week of June and Jim doesn't get done until the 23rd of June and camps won't start until the 18th of June:headache: I am hoping that I wil be able to hire my neighbors kid to watch him for that week (He will be a sophmore in hs this year)

Thanks Mo:goodvibes

BTW - I have already warned Lessa about keeping all hands and fingers out of the way when near the puffy french toast. I'd hate to see Focker become dismembered over a piece of fried bread;) :lmao:

Hey all. Just talked to mom. Dad is home and resting. :cool1:
Wooohoooo fantastic!

Oh I just realized you can add my pic w/ Jo! Ok how do I send to you. Can I just post it here?
Great photo!

I tried it. So cool
It is isn't it :thumbsup2

Oh Jo... I was going to send one to your resort in WDW for the girls to get them hooked.. all the stuff for them can ALWAYS be found ON-LINE
Thanks :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Today, he's pretending the legos are a forest and a pack of dogs is hunting down a bear. :headache: Lovely.
Great imagination :rotfl2:

Thanks and if you'll notice I managed to drag Jo's DH into the picture. His appearances are rare and he labled me a crazy DISer after that. At least that's what Jo says...even though SHE spotted me. LY/MI Jo
I was stalking ya Z :rotfl:

Jo- I think you should get one Webkinz for each of the girls. I bet they'll be really popular there soon and you'll be the coolest mom ever.
I think Jess is probably a little old????

Well today we went here it's a theme park, yes I know we're off to WDW in 2 days but we had free tickets :rotfl2: We met Emma there and as the weather was meant to rain all day the park was pretty empty, walked on so many rides, it didn't rain either :thumbsup2 It was a lovely day, not a patch on WDW but Ellie did go on the log flume there, her first time, so it's definite she'll go on Splash now :yay: The traffic was horrid though, it took nearly 1.5 hours to do a 40 minute journey :sad2:

Looks like a fun place Jo. And free is ALWAYS good ::yes::

Don't you leave in 48 hours?

Hi, ladies...

Sort of a drive-by - I read this page, and I can say woohoo to Janet's dad and  to Mel, but for anything else I need a summary. Was Janet paying attention this weekend? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: (LY/MI)

So, the company arrived early Saturday, as I posted just after they called, and then turns out they planned to stay with us Sunday night, too - nice to know. They are nice people and it was fun, but they didn't leave until 4:00 yesterday afternoon and I had NO plans of having to entertain all day on Monday. D was really needing to be in his office and I have a ton to do, and it was just another day lost. :sad2:

Our trip into Boston Sunday was a huge bust, as we ate and then the thunder started. We stood inside historic Faneuil Hall for two hours and watched it rain, then took a cab back to where we parked the car. Lovely.

The boys and I went to playgroup this morning, and we all have tennis this afternoon.

I can't believe I leave a week from tomorrow (really can't believe Jo goes in less than 48 hours!!! :cool1: ) and I am unprepared for WDW and also school that begins roughly 36 hours after our return. :scared1:

OK.

I still haven't read any TRs since I left home nearly 4 weeks ago. :sad2: I am feeling very, very frazzled. :scared: D has nothing scheduled for the rest of the week at this point, so no "free" time for me, and I NEED it. I have had only the one evening for myself since July 18th. :headache:

Miss you all - back later, I hope, but with D home...

CE!!!!! I was just thinking if I hadn't seen you in the next 12 hours I'd e-mail you my goodbyes :goodvibes:

Sounds as though you had an errrrr fun weekend, at least they were nice people!

Hi, Jo!!!

Yeah, they are nice - the kids are 14 and 17 and yet awesome with my boys - it was just poor timing. I am really feeling stressed. :headache:

No 36 hours, well 10 minutes ago :rotfl:

:cool1: :cool1:

Hi, ladies...

Who is that strange Focker behind the curtain;)

. Was Janet paying attention this weekend? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: (LY/MI)

Nope :snooty:

That stinks. I love Boston.

ACk, although I think we are all starting to feel the pressure:hug:

Miss you all - back later, I hope, but with D home...

Tell D he has had you to himself for a while now and you need to catch up with us:cutie:

I think Jess is probably a little old????
:confused3 It really depends on her. B is 11 and still ikes to get on a play with her friends. The animals are so cute and you can decorate their rooms and houses on-line. Then you can play games on-line with friends who have accounts. B likes to call her BF and they chat and play.

I have had only the one evening for myself since July 18th. :headache:

 Wow! We should trade a few nights. I've been here alone with the kids all day and night during the week days. :sad2:

Slowly breathe in and out, in and out, any better? :rotfl2: Just think of the relaxing WDW trip you've got coming up, all that running round parks is so relaxing, actually for some strange reason it is isn't it??

When I met Emma today she gave me a present from NYC for looking after the boys, milk duds :rotfl2: About 6 boxes :rotfl2: She did buy the girls both an Abercrombie and Fitch sweatshirt though and Jess especially was really made up couldn't stop smiling :goodvibes

Me, too - we kept telling them how it was so nice and easy to walk around town, then we couldn't. :headache:

I'll tell him you said so. :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

I think it all depends on what you're used to. I know I read somewhere along the line that K was really busy. It's not that I'm so eager to have the kids on my own, but once they go to bed, I'd like to do something I want to do, ya know?

I know. :rotfl: D was reminding the kids that we needed to get back to an earlier bedtime (vacation and company threw us all off) NOT because of school, but for rope drops! :rotfl2: I converted him well! :thumbsup2

Awww, nice. Did she find a house? :goodvibes

:lmao: Don't worry - it'll all get done! Or it won't. Who cares?! You're going to DISNEY WORLD!!!!!

Drive by from me as well...I feel like I have so much to do and barely any time to do it.... must get to repacking and pray things fit in 2 bags!!!! I also need to reorganize my papers/printouts and get kc all set up for his trip too. And I discovered facebook last night (i had a profile for a while and never used it) so now I'm wasting time uploading pics and adding to the profile. lol.

Hope everyone's having a great day!

 'Do something I want to do', what's that? ;) :rotfl: No, I meant that I could do some of your stuff since I'm bored.

B's at camp 9-5 M-Th this week. I took the kids to breakfast at a coffee shop, finished school, etc. by 10. So we've been watching the rain, watching t.v, playing computer games... Boring. For the first time ever, I forgot to feed the kids lunch! Now it's too late. I told them to eat some fruit and another snack instead.

I think my problem is if I'm not busy (and stressed), then I'm bored. And that's only solved by spending money or eating. Not good. :headache: :sad2:
