How did you kids like TOT? Mine LOVE it!
Love the pics of the meet and greet! I agree the whole character interaction is so wonderful! I am such a sap I get tears in my eye when my kids hug their fav characters!

ok, time for an update!!!
It was time for the Buffet!!! We left the Princess and went on the monorail in Tommorow land to Downtown Disney. We had a short walk to the Disneyland Hotel and the Ballroom. We then Checked in and then payed! whew that was a big one. We waited for our name to be called. We walked into the buffet and wow was it huge!!! The food was over the top fantastic.... There was a children's Buffet. somehow I got pics of the signs not the buffet's. hmmm
We sit down and get our drink orders and then off to get the kids there food!
ok, I did not take great pics, the lighting was low!

Here is some pics of the ballroom!!

There was a cold area which was all chesses and seafood. wow! Then there was a Hot area that was all Carved meats and your traditional turkey day fixin's. There was a flambe(sp) station and then the dessert station!!! oh yeah!!!

ok, so there are 4 stations with Characters at each. Well, the photo pass people had trouble with there camera's and I did not know that till I went to buy the cd, I did not take all with my camera!! here is all I had...

Well sadly, it was time to leave, Our reservaion was at 4:45 and we were leaving at 7:30!!! :1scared:
Outside in the lobby - Anastasia had the scariest un-natural smile all night!!

So we walked back through Downtown Disney to Disneyland. Nicholas was grumpy and ready for bed. So Daddy and the girls went back to DL and Dee , Nicholas and I went back to the hotel.!!!
It was one of the best Thanksgivings ever!!! It was so nice and relaxing!!

DAY 3!!!
Ok, we were up and around by 8am to the park.
We got in and the kids took some cute pictures!

We started to walk down main street

It was cloudy too!!

We decided to head to Nemo First... In line at Nemo

We then headed to our reservation at Minnies for Breakfast. here comes the Parade of Characters!!!

Nicholas liked the safety of his high chair.

We waited in line to see Tinkerbell and her friend...
we waited about 20 total minutes.... Rosetta was there!!

Grandma and the girls rode the coaster!!!

We did the Chip-n-dale tree house while waiting!

We decided to head to CA Adv. again! On the way Grandma dee Got the girls some treats!!!!
They of course used them as props in there pics.. hehehe

Nicholas fell asleep...

grandma and Anastasia rode Soarin and Jojo, daddy and I grabbed a snack and some water.

Then the HSM3 Parade was about to start!!!!

We rode rides for a while and walked back over to the DL.
As we were leaving we took this pic in front of CA Adv.

It was dark and late, maybe around 7ish. Grandma had a flight super early in the morning so she left and we all said our goodbye's. We truly had such a wonderful trip... Scott, the kids and I stayed in the park and rode rides and the lines were super short all night!! It got really cold too! My sinus' were starting to hurt it was soo cold.

Well that is the end of the trip! It was fabulous. One of the best I have been on. We all will miss such a wonderful trip!!
We left early in the Morning on saturday and were home by the afternoon. I came home with a cold and the kids were excited to go to school on monday and tell everyone how much fun they had!

That Thanksgiving buffet looks like a really cool (and yummy!) thing to do! I am SURE it was very costsly - as DLR buffets are - but it looks worth it. For people who maybe don't have family to be with, or people who can't prepare a huge meal at home, or people who are just sick of cooking every year and want everything to be done FOR them - this Disney buffet seems like a great idea. And you get the added bonus of all the characters and PhotoPass opportunities.

Back in the '90s, there used to be an Easter buffet at the Disneyland Hotel. I don't THINK they do it anymore - I could be wrong - but it was so cool, because they dragged out all the Disney rabbit characters for the occasions, and a couple of Disney birds too. They had Roger Rabbit, Thumper, Brer Rabbit and Rabbit from Pooh. I am skipping someone...can't recall...Anyway, it was cool thing to do. I think they had some sort of Easter Egg hunt to go along with it for the kids.

it was spendy that Turkey meal for 6 people. Luckily we used my Premium AP discount and Nicholas was free for only being 2!!

So this must mean they do a Christmas buffet, too, I would assume?

They have probably changed some of the rabbits if they still do the Easter buffet. Characters seem to come and go over the years! Is Thumper even around anymore? When I look at my pictures from the '90s and before, I see characters that are not around in DLR anymore!

Don't you just love that Premium AP discount? I took full advantage of mine in October - and will again next week when I go - every chance I got. It comes in REALLY handy at Goofy's Kitchen. Now, we love Goofy's and would eat there even without the discount, but one can't ignore that the Premium AP takes off a nice chunk of money from the tab!!!

Wow! The food at the Thanksgiving buffet sounds amazing! I had heard that it was a crazy, nightmarish thing to do (try to eat at DL for a holiday) but you made it look effortless and fun! Now I wanna do it! LOL A flambe station??!!! How COOL!

Thank you soooo much. It was a effortless trip, they are not always like that. The low crowds helped with that also.... The buffet was great because you could get up when you wanted and take your time... there was no rush at all!
