I may have to resort to that. It’s an e-gift card I bought two days ago that I didn’t receive the link for. I want the card and so far they are trying to troubleshoot why I haven’t received it. I received the email confirmation of the order, so they have the correct address. I have done two online chats and five phone calls, and they say wait, it’s on the way. Supposedly they resent it again a couple of hours ago, and they said to wait four hours (which is the typical wait time) so I am waiting again. They said if it doesn’t come through this time we will go over my “options”. Hopefully those include a refund, but right now they have my money and I have no card. I have bought many e-gift cards through them and never had an issue, so I’m really frustrated right now.Could you not dispute it? I've never had a problem with customer service at Target. Once they only gave me one of an item when I paid for two and they refunded me.
ETA - I was finally able to get someone who could help. She could see the attempts to send the email and that they were bouncing back to Target for some reason. So she resent it from an alternate email on her end and it came right through. So Target isn’t on my no go list, but I think e-cards will be on the no shopping list for a while. Maybe someone will have a good Black Friday on physical cards next month.
