Movie memories with others:
Seeing the original West Side Story with my parents. They had to wait to leave at the end because I was crying so hard. On rewatches, Natalie Wood still makes me ugly cry when she says “Don’t you touch him!”
Seeing Time Machine with a friend who insisted I go with her because she didn’t want to go alone, (plus I really wanted to see it.) Problem was I had given up going to the movies for Lent. After about 15 minutes, my guilt was so great that I ran out of the theater and all the way home. Guess I learned a little about peer pressure that day.
My DD’s first movie theater movie was The Little Mermaid. She dropped her popcorn at the very beginning of the shark scene and we went out to the lobby to get a new one and by the time we came back to our seats, the scary shark scene was over.
Strawberries:
Chocolate covered strawberries in fancy restaurants or weddings.
Nestles Strawberry Quik when I was a kid
Strawberry jelly (not jam) on my PB&J sandwiches when i was a kid.
