What a CUTE movie. The kids loved the movie AND the dinner part! We have a new movie theater, even if it is almost an hour away. Worth the trip.

They are 7 months old and she started it again at my brothers house warming. "Should you have named a female Dega, is that a girl name?" I just walked away. It was a trap. Trying to upset me and get me going, but I didn't fall for it this time. I'm getting smarter. So it's ok if you don't like the names, I've heard it all. 
Hey Smileybug since you/your husband are Nascar fans, I should tell you my puppies names. They are named after Nascar. My female is Dega (short for Talladega) and my male is Hendrick for Hendrick Motor Sports.
My mother had to make sure to keep telling me how much she doesn't like the names, how stupid Hendrick is for a name and so on. She discussed it with one one of my brothers (not the one near me) and had to tell me how much he disliked it too. News Flash - I didn't name MY dogs to please you guys. I think she figured I would change the name if she told me how much they don't like it. Ummmm, I don't care if you like it or not.
Don't you know all dogs should be named Spot or Rover? I'm the complete opposite of a Nascar fan, but I think those names are very cute and they mean something to you. My cats are Lightning (for the Tampa Bay hockey team), Minnie, and Goofy. I always get "You named your cats after a mouse and a dog?" Yes. Yes, I did.

His grandmother says "Why can't you name her something nice, like Mary?" Her name and MIL's name. Family, sometimes they just lose that censor that says "Don't say that! It's not nice."

Third shift does things to my mind. I'm perpetually confused about what day it is. 
At least it was your dog names your mom harasses you for. My MIL did not like the name we picked for our first DD at all. The day we found out it was a girl, we met both sides for lunch and brought cards that said "It's a Girl" with a sonogram picture that had her full name. First name is Haley, middle name is my maiden name, and our last name. His mother says, "Well, you still have time to change it."
I like your cats names. My cats have been named after Lord of The Rings. I got a lot of crap about that too. It never ends. 
My daughters name is Jasmine. I named her BEFORE the movie came out. I was not happy about the movie b/c all of a sudden it became a much more popular name. Oh well, not something I could control. Bottom line, I would never tell someone I didn't like their pets or kids name. It's rude and there is no point to it but to hurt the person or make them feel bad. Not my style.

NOO!!! Don't end my last week of vacation for the summer before it gets started!!!
