Yup--even went to the post office to send it by registered mail (this mom is forever saying she "didn't get the letter" so I started the practice of senting by registered mail a year ago with signature confirmation so I'd have proof I sent it.).

Good luck with the b-day shopping. When is your dd's b-day? My Boo's b-day is Mon. She'll be 6. I can't believe my baby is growing so fast.

Very good idea with the registered mail. Can't trust anyone.

My daughter will be 17 on July 1st. I think that's Tuesday. Her party is tomorrow at our camp. I'm feeling old.

I sure hope it's fixed....I stopped posting yesterday because it was just so frustrating to have a "conversation" with anyone!! I have my suspicions about the day, but.....

So, good morning to all!

I was dreaming last night that we were at Disney! I remember standing in a hallway or a foyer somewhere (probably POR, since that's where we're staying) and talking with a passerby that we'd only arrived the day before and already done a ton of stuff. Then I remember thinking, "Yeah, we've only been here for 24 hours....still a whole week ahead of us!!!" What a great feeling.

We have to flush our well today. Oh my word you should have seen the CARP coming out of the pipes yesterday!!!! After my kids' showers last night, I could run my finger across the tub and make a line in the clay residue. That cannot be good for the plumbing!

I'm in the mood for a little Johnny Depp today...think I'll rent Pirates: At Worlds' End again and watch it tonight!

That's too bad. Good luck with your well. We are having septic issues. Last night we had the worse pool of septic water under our picnic table so far. Shouldn't have done 3 loads of laundry in a row. I was sitting at the computer and the smell was coming in the window. GROSS We will be calling for it to be pumped next week.

Today we are going to our camp for my daughters b-day party. Of course today the weather is crappy. We will be lucky if it hits 70. One report said high of 66. We were hoping for a nice warm day and go swimming. Thunderstorms on the way too. The last few days it was 80. She was already feeling bummed b/c only 3 relatives are coming. Oh no, it looks like it's about to rain.

We were hoping for a nice warm day and go swimming. Thunderstorms on the way too. The last few days it was 80. She was already feeling bummed b/c only 3 relatives are coming. Oh no, it looks like it's about to rain.

Aww...that stinks! I hope it clears up for you. It's foggy here right now but they said it was supposed to clear out and be warm and muggy today. We do have the t-storms coming later, too, but my in-laws are taking the kids today and had mentioned taking them to the beach (which means York), so I'm hoping they can get out there at least for a bit!

Well, tell your DD that all of us here on the Tagless thread wish her a very magical birthday!

It's 61 and damp now. Her actual b-day is Tuesday. Maybe that will be a nice day. She got her date back for her road test. She goes July 9th and is very nervous. I tried to tell her It's ok, if you don't pass it the 1st time, you try again. She has a friend that took 3 tries to pass so she will not be the only one if that happens to her. Too bad I couldn't give her a car for her b-day.

What a nice dream. Sure beats the one I had where an ex-boyfriend of mine turned into a killer robot. You'd think I went to be watching Terminator, but I didn't!

Just dropping in to say hello!! I hope you all are having fun. I'm cleaning house today. For some reason I really don't mind.
At least I'm not outside cutting grass. Which is where hubby is. He is probably happy that he isn't inside cleaning. Did ya'll hear what I just said..."cutting grass" WE HAVE GRASS TO CUT!!! Yep, it is finally starting to fill in. Still a ways to go. But I would say we have a good 2 1/2 to 3 acres in grass now!!!
