We made our way toward Soarin'. The wait said 25 minutes, so we jumped in line. We got lucky because a CM came by looking for a party of 3. We jumped up and down and ran to the front of the line. Once we were done there, we headed to Test Track. We grabbed a FP but then saw the sign change from a 40-minute wait to a 20 minute wait. We got on the ride, then jumped right back on again with our fast passes.

Now, it was time for food. We decided to start left near Mexico. We began with our favorite of the day... the beef on a skewer with chimichurri sauce. Yum! It was just a food fest (thus the name) after that. We did skip some foods we wanted because soup in god awful heat just doesn't make sense. We downed lots of expensive water to keep hydrated.

After making our way around the entire World Showcase, we got our shop on at Mousegears. Though I didn't buy anything, I really enjoy being able to shop without kids around. It was around 5 and my friends didn't want to stay for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. :sad2: They considered going back to their room at Treehouse Villas, but I said I really wanted to continue the kid-free day. I suggested we head to the Poly for dinner at Kona Cafe. When we got there, it was packed. But they said we could order from the Kona menu at the sushi bar. So we ate sushi and the sticky wings from the Kona menu. Yummy! It was a great day of food stuff. For dessert, I had a Lapu Lapu. :thumbsup2

We made our way back to our separate hotels with the idea of meeting back up for games, but when we got back we were all too tired. Overall, it was a great mommy's day out.:banana::banana:

What a great mini-TR!! :thumbsup2 for kid-free touring! Yeah, I wouldn't be so much about the soup in that heat... But I must try a Lapu Lapu!!!

I cannot believe TSM is still that mobbed! It's a fantastic ride, but my word, it was like that a YEAR ago when we went!.... We FP'd it but I do wish I'd had a tad more time to really enjoy the queue area. Do you think you'll get the Wii version?

I bought the version for my iPhone, so I will probably get the one for the Wii too. When you guys come back next, make sure to take a trip to the Poly for a big drink in a pineapple. My friends thought it was very funny to watch me drink out of it.

Hey ya'll. :goodvibes

Mean Queen,,,,sounds like an awesome time. :thumbsup2 As always, I enjoyed reading all about it. :)

TK....I sure hope everything goes well for ya'll on your trip. I'm sorry I missed your big send off.

Can you get it someplace besides Kona (meaning w/o having an ADR?!) I've only been over there once so all I know is Kona.

LegoMom.... Hi!!

Hi Smileybug!....:goodvibes

Ok we need to get off this page....I hate when we get stuck on one page for more than one day! It feels like we're stagnating. Like muck on a pond. You get the picture.

We got our house about 85% painted this weekend! DH and I are just working on the higher areas and then the trim. It looks great and I am just thrilled with how the colors turned out (you just never really know if the paint chip will be exactly the same in "real time"!). It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do for a house.

.

Good morning ya'll.

LegoMom....are you calling us muck? :rotfl: That kinda fits me today.

I'm glad your house is just about finished. Isn't fresh paint just the best!! :thumbsup2

Like you, I'm ready for us to get off this page as well. Every time I come on here its like......still. :)

Well, I need to get going. I have to run into town. I have a long list of things to do once I'm back home.
