You must have me confused with someone else. :3dglasses The only thing that I am going to admit ot seeing are dollar signs. And I'm working hard to see plenty of those. :rotfl:

What a long day. . .I just want to sleep under the bed.

I had a cheerleading mom come and yell at me today. Her daughter came to practice on Tuesday. The mom dropped her off and left. I had to take a group of girls to a game. Her daughter was still there. When I left, I left her daughter with another parent and my husband (who was coaching in the same field). The mom came to practice screaming and cursing at me for leaving her daughter all alone. Hello? I leaft her with a parent and another coach! Why was she not staying with her daughter in the first place? After all, the kid is 4 years old. I told the mother to take her child and not come back. We finally had to call the police to remove her from the park. SHe does all of this in front of other children.

The recreation department director is worried that I'm going to quit now, but there are 33 other little girls counting on me to be out there. No chance I'm quitting on those children. But I certainly don't look forward to seeing her on Saturday--her twin boys play football. . .

Apparently, we are having to put out notice to parents NOT to leave their children at the recreation park for volunteers to monitor. Apparently, our insurance is counting on the parents to stay with their children, or we may be in for higher premiums. Either way, she should never have yelled at me like that in front of the other children.

Ok, my turn: Hello??!.....we now have FOUR-year-olds doing cheerleading???

.

Sorry to hear that Amanda. It's not your job to babysit everyone's child. What kind of parent just leaves their four year old anyways?

Some good news, it looks like my best friend and I might be able to swing a nice long trip in January! There's some great deals and by splitting the room cost we don't have to spend much! I can't wait to use the online ADR system!

Some of my 4 year olds are the best ones! But I have 34 girls and really mamas need to be out there to pay attention to their children.

This is an open park and like I've said--there are 34 girls out there. With all the things that could happen to a child, I would never leave my children out there! That's why dh and I coach--we are going to be there anyway, so we might as well coach. Like I said, I left the little girl with another parent and another coach--neither one left until the little girl's mom got there. It doesn't matter now, though--we aren't going to have her back. It's bad for the kid and I would take back the kid anytime, but I can't deal with that parent.

Yay for a January trip! Now, I expect a great PTR and TR from you, young lady! :rolleyes1

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

Sorry for the drama creativeamanda.

ITS FRIDAY!! :banana::banana::banana:

...ohhhh, so this kinda cr*p doesn't just happen in MY town, eh??

Well good morning you early birds! HAPPY FRIDAY!! It's a good one for me because my silly van is fixed! It turned out to be a $14 battery cable.....:headache: DH was on the verge of having it towed to the garage when he and his boss found the problem. He would have kicked himself if the garage took it and told him, "Oh yeah, we found the problem, it was just a battery cable!" I am so, so thankful that DH is as mechanical as he is!

I've actually been awake for a while myself and my mind is reeling with things I want to do around here! My dad is coming in three weeks and that's motivation to get moving!!

.

Sure! I like it (and used it!). I just seemed to be late getting it so I went out and found my own while I was waiting....:rolleyes1

.

...so sorry to make you wait - I had found that clippie while on the 'puter at school and had JUST BEGUN to send them when the bell rang, so I had to leave...I never got another chance to get back to the DIS before yesterday...

Yeah, yeah....likely story. :lmao:

.

Legomom--if you had taken it to a garage, it would have ended up being more than a $14 battery cable, KWIM? So glad that you gotit fixed.
