Ozark Waterfront Resort, Camdenton, MO (Lake of the Ozarks)
First, the name is a bit misleading. It isn't "waterfront", but up the hill a 1/4 mile from the water. It IS right around the corner from my dad and his wife, who ARE waterfront.
View from their house balcony.
This campground has been here a very long time, but really ran down in the past 10 years. It used to have a pool and a petting farm, but the economy downturn in 2008 really hurt and it was mostly seasonal sites since then.
It was sold a couple of years ago and the new owner has slowly started to get it back into shape. It has a way to go, but is close to where I want to be and has full hookups.
I'm in site 43. The guy I text to get a reservation says it is a long pull through. It is very long, probably 100ft, but has a few obstructions that make it interesting.
The first is the downhill slope for the front half. The back half is flatter, but that puts the power post near your front corner and the other side has an interest tree right next to the gravel with a Y about 10 ft up that leans over the site.
If you are 42ft long with slides on both sides, you have to be pretty precise on where you park.

It does have a very nice concrete patio and fire pit.
A few more of the site. It's hard to tell the slope, but behind the Jeep it drops off to the road. It is already on a downhill from back to front.

And "the tree".
