We are going to be going to Halloween party in September with my 2 children 10 and 13 and they are both bringing friends of the same age. any suggestions on how to surprise the kids by telling them they get to party? They all know they are going to Disney but I am looking for a cute way to surprise them with party. :cool1:

thanks in advance for any suggestions

this one I'm not sure I'd do as a surprise - do you have any idea whether they'd like to wear costumes to the party? Lots of people do. If you think they'd like to dress up, then they'd be denied that if you try to surprise them. Unless you bring along costumes or costume accoutrements (like pirate eye patches and such) and keep them hidden.

I think having some fun shirts or costumes for them to wear to the party if they want waiting for them on their beds (when they aren't in the room) with a note saying get ready to party and maybe even a glow in the dark bracelet would be a fun surprise.

We're planning on surprising our kids too and I'm sneaking costumes/costume t-shirts for everyone in my suitcase. I love the idea of having a surprise fun event that I know they would never suspect. :)
