The weekend wasn't bad here! I only gained a little- maybe like half a pound (my normal gain is 4-5lbs for the weekend) although now two days later I'm still hanging at the same weight I normally am after losing the water weight
We ate healthy on Friday, went out for drinks and had a few beers, on Saturday we ate out and I got a cheeseburger but it didn't sit well for me at all. On Sunday we worked out and I was mostly good on my eating. We drank a lot less and ate less than normal for a weekend which was good.
I ran 4.5 miles on Monday - race is in less than 5 weeks! I felt really good after it. I'm loving my Garmin and just started putting stuff on garmin connect. It's so cool!
This weekend will be a beach weekend and we're going out for someone's birthday on Saturday night so I'll have to make a special effort not to go crazy on food and drink!!
MommyMcQ~ I still think making a special effort and watching what you do on the weekend is still a big accomplishment even if you don't see the loss (or lack of gain) you wanted. Just think- there's no way you were in excess of 7000 calories... so you couldn't have actually gained a real 2lbs!
pixiedust & ghoulish~ Hang in there! I do the same thing half the weekends
  And Happy Bday pixiedust!

how the scale settled back down for you.
great job this weekend -- i need the inspiration!
it is sooooo goood! I had one peice but looked up thepoints value for it and made sure I counted in my daily points (weight watchers) I also ordered a salad with grilled chicken and had oil & vinegar on the side.
One of these weekends I'll have a loss!! I'm determined to do it now!!!
I'm pretty interested to see my bloodwork too.
but I did make a healthy new meatloaf recipe that I was really psyched about on Sunday. I need to get a handle on things this month!! We went to the beach on Saturday and out for a friend's bday. Then ate bad on Sunday since I wasn't feeling too good after Saturday!
I weighed myself Saturday morning and I'm the same today.
. Then yesterday I was back on track, went to MIL's for her birthday and brought my own healthy food since the food they were serving was gong to be too many points for me and we were planning on taking DD to Uno's for her birthday dinner. Did well at Uno's and had a slad and the veggie soup (which ws really good!) but then DD ordered the mega sized chocolate chip cookie sundae and we all shared it. When we got home I ate some more junk and I have no idea why since I wasn't even hungry I just wanted to pick.
So when I started out I did the first 8 and was feeling pretty good - so I added 1 more minute on it and did 9. (Tomorrows run is a straight 20 minute, so with the thought of that looming over my head I wanted to push myself a little bit longer). After my second 9 min I was feeling REALLY great that I did it, and I felt like I had tons of energy. I walked a couple minutes and decided to do 1 more interval so I did an additional 9 min. Its funny - it seems like the running that I do after I finish with what is "required" of me for that day is so much easier to do! I'm sure it's all in my head - like the pressure is off and I can just go and do it and actually enjoy it, and not worry "am I gonna make it??"
[sidenote: I have to do this Mon, Wed and Fri of next week too!!]
