For my budget minded friends who give me invaluable information, there are several free days at Steamtown Historic Park in Scranton, PA (train museum).
The dates are: April 16th through April 24th for National Park Week; June 21 for the 1st day of summer; September 24th for National Public Lands Day and November 11 through November 13th for Veterans weekend.
Admission to rail yards, museum, etc are free but train rides are an extra cost.
